I bought the dark green and it is the first time I have had a hat in this color. It looks nice and goes with most things I wear outside (casual wear). It looks nice. I would like a wider brim, but it may not look as nice as it is now. I am outside every day and needed this hat. I like the strap when it is windy or when I just let the hat hang around my neck so I won't lose it. I don't want you to do the same, but I wear the hat on the bike path and don't always my helmet. I do now carry an orange flag for some parts of town where the traffic is crazy though. I wave that like crazy with the crazy drivers we have.

I have bought quite a few sun hats over time, but THIS is the best one I’ve ever owned. Lightweight, large enough to fit on my big head (lol) without popping up on my head. (It has a adjustable clasp) and you can also use the chin strap to secure it on windy days. I don’t know I am wearing a hat, it’s so comfortable.

I’ve enjoyed this hat. It’s made several trips out of the country with me. For the sun, it is great but it definitely is not a rain hat. It will hold up in a light sprinkle but rain soaks through pretty quickly if you get in a steady rain. However I’ve still worn it in the rain when I had no other choice and it’s certainly better than no hat. It dries quickly and keeps its shape. So it’s just as advertised- a good sunhat and a bit water resistant.

I was afraid this would be tight, but it fit perfectly. (I wear hat size 7-1/2.) It can be adjusted for smaller heads. Brim holds its shape. Wore to a rainy sporting event and dried quickly as well as shedding some water. Fabric of upper part of hat is a bit wrinkly.

I wanted a hot pink rain hat. I wasn’t sure how well this hat would be able to do in the rain, because all the reviews I read mentioned that it was being used as a sun hat. So I put a drop of water on the top and a few hours later it was still beaded up and hadn’t soaked in. Happy with my purchase and the reasonable price.
