Samsung256GB EVO Plus Class 10 UHS-I microSDXC U3 with Adapter (MB-MC256GA)

This Samsung SD card works perfectly with my Samsung Android phone. I haven’t experienced any errors thus far, and the 256 card gives me more than enough storage for documents, photos, and videos..

What can I say. No data loss or corrupted media so far. I use this for saving content I use on social media an trust it so far. I however do back my stuff up. You just never know.

So I almost thought I got a dud because I was testing the 256 GB SD Card on 1 laptop / my desktop and I only got ~19 MB / s for read / write. Nothing even over 25 MB/s (1/4 of the advertised speed).TEST 1: The laptop was a Dell G3 which had an i7-8750H CPU and a realtek card reader built in.TEST 2: My Desktop has a 2600x CPU and I was using only a USB 2.0 (Micro USB OTG to USB 2.0 Adapter; SD/Micro SD Card Reader)TEST 3: So that got me thinking, I need to buy a USB 3.0 or 3.1 SD Card reader for my desktop. (Ended up buying Transcend TS-RDF5K USB 3.0 SDHC/SDXC/microSDHC/SDXC Card Reader which is where I ran the CrystalDisk Mark picture and got the results I posted). Those are way closer to the advertised speed which is good.Now on another older laptop (i5 CPU 6th Gen + Realtek card reader built in) for some reason it was giving a better speed (~60-70 MB/s) using CrystalDiskMark and H2TestW than Test1/Test2 despite those being a lot newer. So I'm not sure if it's a realtek driver issue at least comparing the 2 laptops which both had the realtek sd card reader.All I'm saying is don't dismiss it just because it initially gives you low speeds, it could be your device.I actually RMA'd the Samsung 256GB EVO Select Green when I may not have had to.Anyways I will be using this for my BlackVue DR750S 2CH DashCam since the 128GB Blackvue branded one crapped out on me within 6 months. Will update this review if I run into any issues using it with my dash cam.

I have given this micro-CD card four stars without taking it out of the package. If I have any issues with it - such as the storage capacity - I will amend this review. I have not given this product five stars for the reasons below.Received the product - a Samsung EVO Plus 256 gb microSDXC UHS-I card - in good time and good order. The package had no added labels, which I took as a good sign.The first thing I did was Google the UPC: 8806088676531. This led me to samsung.com/uk where this product is listed for £74.00. The second thing I did was check the model for the card: MB-MC256GA/EU. This UPC and model code are for this product in a UK/European market, not an American market.The American UPC is 887276199993, and the American model code is MB-MC256GA/AM.So, I received a product out of the correct market which means Samsung won't honour the warranty if I have any issues. I went back to the product page and found the model number about half way down the page after the features and before the adverts, and it *is* the model number I received. I wouldn't have known what to make of it at the time without doing additional research, but I did receive the product listed.What I take issue with - and the reason I didn't give this product a five star rating - is I specifically chose an Amazon Prime outlet. I did read the reviews, and there were a few people who gave negative reviews. Only one of those people *did* say they received a UK/EU model. I feel like I did ample research. What I have to say is:THE WEB PAGE SHOULD STATE CLEARLY NEAR THE TOP - NOT HIDDEN IN THE MIDDLE - THAT THIS IS A PRODUCT FOR THE UK/EUROPEAN MARKET AND THAT AMERICAN BUYERS WILL RECEIVE NO WARRANTY FROM THE MANUFACTURER. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DECIPHER IT FROM A MODEL CODE I HAVE TO RESEARCH. IT SHOULD BE CLEARLY STATED, AND AMAZON - SPECIFICALLY - SHOULD BE TAKING BETTER CARE OF ITS CUSTOMERS.That being said, I probably would have bought it anyway. I've not had any of the Samsung cards I've bought go bad. I take umbrage at the way the product web page lists the information: hiding the information in plain sight instead of making the information clear so buyers can make an informed choice.That being said, buyers take note: you *will* receive a UK/EU product, even if you buy it in the United States.

I plugged this into my DashCam and it worked without a problem. Great Buy.

Works as described, fast and reliable. I buy only Samsung ones and have not problems for years as opposed to other brands.

I just purchased a Samsung Galaxy A53, and was using a generic MicroSD card that kept unmounting.After reading about MicroSD and phone compatibility this Samsung 256GB EVO Plus Class 10 UHS-I microSDXC U3 was recommended to work with the A53.I started using it for a day now, and it is staying connected, working fine. Loaded 20 GB of files.I notice that there is also improved performance when taking photos / videos and when viewing them and when listening to stored music files. Also seems faster when using the photo editor with MicroSD stored files.Hopefully this MicroSD card will stay connected.The A53 is a major phone upgrade for me which I am impressed with and enjoy using.Thanks Team Samsung!
