Review: Absolutely brilliant!! - Mr. Saran had been in one of the top most positions regarding formulation of Indian Foreign Policy. This book is absolute ''must'' for anyone who is interested in Indian Foreign Policy and relation with China. Review: One of the best read so far - I liked it so much so that I end up buying 2 one for myself and other to gift someone.

Must Read
China is the source of almost all the supply chains feeding into India. India shares a contested border with china. It is important for all thinking Indians to understand "where the Chinese are coming from" - to use an Americanism. It is important to understand their narrative, in order to counter it. It is when we understand what drives their world view that we can figure out their likely future behaviour and what we should do. This the author does, with great clarity, in the concluding chapters of the book. This book must inform discussions, amongst all those who are stakeholders in national security, trade and technology.

factful book on Chinese perception of India.
Except for falsely blaming that bjp govt is stoking communal tensions in india instead of radical foreign religious elements ,good book!

Indo Chinese relationship
A battle of talikota in which Deccan Sultanate defeated Vijayanagar Empire is wrongly mention ed ,it should be 1565 CE instead of 1526 CE as mentioned in this book.

Misleading title but good book
Good book but misleading title. The book covers the history of China and its empires and very little on Chinese geopolitics or modern Chinese diplomacy and view of the world.
