Well worth the wait
If you’re here, you’re probably already a fan of Lady H and Flo. This book will deepen your love. We spent most of our time in Bristol with a theatre troupe with all the requisite drama that implies. Additional fun and hijinks provided by the delightful Gwen. I tried to savor it but I blew through the novel too quickly and now I must wait for the next brilliant adventure. It can’t come too soon.

Worth the wait.
I waited a long time for this latest Lady Hardcastle and Flo book; it was worth the wait. Lady H, Flo and her identical twin sister, Gwen, work to solve the murder of an actor killed in the middle of a play Lady H, Flo, Inspector Sunderland and friends were attending in honor of Lady H's birthday. They set about trying to find the killer in a troupe of professional actors. Who's telling the truth and who's acting? A wonderful, fast-paced read with even more of the snappy, laugh inspiring dialogue between Lady H and Flo. And Flo's sister, Gwen, fits in with the dynamic duo like a glove. Can't wait for the next installment.

Another great read from T E Kinsey
I have read all of the Lady Hardcastle books and this is another great one. I'm looking forward to the next one already! The characters are smart, funny and just a tad on the believable side. Or is that on the unbelievable side. A fairly quick read, which I like. Never a dull moment.

Truly enjoyable reading
I love the characters, the banter, barbs and word play. Lady Hardcastle must have been quite a force back in 1911. A female Sherlock Holmes with the same intelligence, observational skills and abit manic. Then there's Flo the dedicated servant/friend who tolerates *Herself* but also loves the intrigue. This is a fascinating book series that also keeps me on my toes.

Always a great read!
I absolutely love this series! The dialogue between Lady Hardcastle and her tiny servant, Flo Armstrong, make me smile every time.It seems that every time I think I know who the killer is, the ladies prove me wrong. As always, I never saw it coming.Well done!!

Another wonderful edition to the Lady Hardcastle mysteries!
Once again, Mr. Kinsey has given our family a fantastically fun and well plotted mystery in Lady Emily Hardcastle's and Florence Armstrong's ninth mystery novel. The edition of Flo's identical twin Gwen to the group as they hunt for a murderer among a theatrical troupe is a wonderful one. The dynamics of the sisters' relationship as well as their shared history provides yet more depth to the skills Florence brings to the table. And of course, twin shenanigans are historically part of English theater history.

Another good romp
I love the bantering dialogue between Lady Hardcastle and Flo as well as all the other characters. The setting in the theater was delightful. Flo's twin sister Gwen was a surprise but she was a welcome addition to their antics. Kinsey's notes on Bristol are also delightful. His stories provide a great escape into a simpler time along with great companions. I'm already wanting the next adventure.

Another fabulous Hardcastle and Evans Adventure
It is a great read, murder, mayhem and mischief in a Bristol Theatre. That it features one of my favourite characters, the pocket potential crime wave except she is on the side of the law, although maybe not order ... Flo' Evans.A four-star rating is harsh, but it isn't quite a five for me.It just failed to hit all my buttons, maybe it was the pacing, maybe it was the amount of backstory the characters have to bring along. On the plus side ... it has one of the great quotable quotes of both that and the current eras ..."... don’t let his bluff confidence fool you into thinking he knows it all. He was taught Bluff Confidence at school along with Latin and Greek, and the principal purpose of all three is to make him and his kind appear much cleverer than they really are."I hope you enjoy the read!

Another Enjoyable Adventurw
Lady Hardcastle and Flo attend an evening at the theatre in Bristol with friends, which is rudely interrupted by the murder of a cast member. At the request of their friend Inspector Sunderland, they agree to keep an eye On the investigation's progress. They investigate, in between afternoon read and sumptuous dinners, due to a lack of a "base" in Bristol. Enjoyed this very much as both this and other books in the series are recommended.

Great detective story
This is the latest in the Lady Hardcastle series and I think it’s one of the best so far. Although they’re called”Lady Hardcastle mysteries”, in reality they’re the Lady H and her maid, Florence Armstrong, stories. This story introduces us to Florence’s twin sister, Gwenith, who’s been mentioned in passing previously , but has never actually appeared. The story is well worth reading and I can’t wait for the next one.

Funny with a touch of Cluedo!
I like all these books. The relationship between the main characters and their conversations are a delight. The other casts of characters are well drawn. Looking forward to the next Lady Hardcastle and her 'tiny servant'.

Another Wonderful Lady Hardcastle Mystery
I have been waiting ages for a new Lady Hardcastle mystery and this does not disappoint. It was great to have Gwen playing a larger role in the story and I really enjoyed the banter between Gwen and Flo. They all tackle an interesting theatre based mystery which keeps them stumped for a while bur gradually the truth emerges. Roll on the next one.
