I struggled until I bought this!!!
WOW! Let me start off with that. I wish I bought this Bergeon spring bar tool before I wasted nearly an hour and a half trying to get the spring bar back onto one of my watches. Unfortunately, the cheap tool that came in my watch repair kit had too much flex in the business end and was unable to properly secure my spring bar, this caused quite a headache for me! After previously purchasing a Bergeon screwdriver in the past and being impressed with the quality, I purchased this - two days later it arrived and 2 minutes after that BOTH spring bars were replaced on my watch. At first, I thought it may have been a fluke, so I undid both and within a minute, had both back on. What this tool has is QUALITY, it's made from high-quality steel that won't flex during the small adjustments you need to make while attempting to get the spring bars set. It grips the spring bars very well and works like a charm. This is worth EVERY PENNY!

Its Nice
The first one arrived about 10 days late, in a crushed box, with a bent straight pin.it was to be a Christmas gift, but it arrived way too late. I requested a return. The second one arrived within a few fays, imperfect condition. It works great. Its nice to have the right tool for the task, makes life easier!Had it not been for the initial delivery, this would have been a 5 star. In all fairness, it was ordered before Christmas, and although delivery was estimated to be about 7 days BEFORE Christmas, well, things can happen. If you enjoy working on you watch collection, get one

An improvement over the original
I had the first version of this spring bar to for many years. It was made of chrome plated brass and the brass showed through slightly. The screw ends did not screw tightly so they moved a little when changing bracelet.Bergeron have fixed those issues and I think the price is lower too? It’s now solid stainless steel and the ends screw in firmly so there is no movement. Like the first version, you can replace the ends if you ever need to.I don’t like all of Bergeon’s tools and some of them are silly expensive, but this works well and is good value.

Get it. Your skills will suddenly improve
I like Bergeon tools. if you like something else, fine. I had used the 7767, the larger brother of this one and it was fine. But I struggled with Omega bracelets. With this tool, I suddenly looked vaguely Swiss. I could pop bracelets on and off quickly and with confidence. Much less faffing about, as the Brits like to say.

Tudor Black Bay Monochrome Approved
Great product. I use this to remove the bracelet from my Tudor Black Bay Monochrome. I tried the tweezer pair and they made it miserable but using this set is a breeze.
