Yes. It's a silicone handle that You can remove and place on other 8 ounce bottles.

If my baby already hold her own bottle will this be any benefit to us?

Our baby held his own bottle too! This just made it easier for him. Personally I love this handle and ordered a second one for his snippy cup.

Loved this!

I used this to transition my little from the Dr Brown’s bottles to sippy cup style. Absolutely loved this bottle. It’s the same shape as the other bottles we used which made the transition even better. Also loved that it included the silicone hand held piece. Very easy to use and to wash.
