GSCIT Club Birch Edge Banding, 3/4 inch x 50ft roll of Veneer Pre-glued Flexible, Real Wood Tape Banding for Cabinet Repair Furniture Restoration

I used this to cover the edges of some plywood shelves I built and it turned out nice. The roll comes with plenty of material and the width fit my boards perfectly. The adhesive activates easily with a regular household iron. After heating, I pressed it down and trimmed the extra with a sharp blade without any problems. The finish looks clean once applied and blends well with the rest of the wood. The veneer feels sturdy and has held up fine so far without peeling or chipping. This was my first time using edge banding and the process was pretty simple. Good option if you are doing small furniture repairs or projects.

This is a great product. We needed to recover the booth in our motorhome because the faux leather is peeling. The booth is made of plywood and has rough edges. We opted to cover the booth with heavy wallpaper, but needed something to cover the rough edges. This product is really affordable and very easy to use. It adheres pretty well. We had planned on painting the wood veneer edging, but we decided that the wood tone fit right in with the rest of the trim in the motorhome so we left it raw. While I bought 1" because that is mostly what we needed, some other areas were only 3/4" wide. It was so easy to run an Exacto knife along the extra edge and trim it smoothly.

Item worked fine for my project. The wood seems to very thin, it’s great to work in small circles and corners. Right amount of glue, some products are studded with glue, which causes problems during trimming.

We ordered this wood grain tape because we ran out of LVP tiles and had to use scrap pieces to finish the kitchen floor. At some point we will buy another box of tiles, but until then we are using the tape to secure the tiles. It looks much better than it did before and so far the adhesive has held up nicely to my robot vacuum / mopper and 4 dogs. I did end up using 2 layers for extra protection, as this is a high traffic area. The value for the price is very good (after a coupon it was $8.50) so highly recommend!

This birch banding was pleasantly surprising. It was much less expensive than the roll at Home Depot. This product has a slightly more yellow cast than the name brand at big box stores. But it didn’t bother me at all. It came in a much larger roll. I liked that this size was just over 3/4 inch so there was very little trimming to do for the 3/4 inch plywood. I think it’s important when trimming to trim with the grain, not against it. This will prevent the tape from splitting and more being cut off than you want. The ease of applying it was great. It heated nicely with my Rowena iron. I’ve also used my Oliso with it and it worked great too. Both irons at hottest setting. I then take a heavy item or a spare block of wood and press it in after the iron has secured it. This helps the piece bond tightly with out the heat. Waiting until the product is fully cooled before trimming helps. It sanded well and I haven’t tried to paint or stain it yet. Overall very pleased and will order more in the future. Perfect for top of my drawer boxes and slide out pantry shelves.

I rate this edge banding as OK at best. I ran out of veneer that I bought from Rockler (much higher quality) and ordered a roll of this to finish my project. This edge banding is thinner than Rocklers and is much easier to work with. Trimming it once glued was real easy. The glue on this edge banding is either low quality or there isnt not enough on the backing. I later discovered some of the edge banding did not stick very good and I had to re attach some edges with CA glue.

The product is great for home DIY’s but the quality is not 100%. It worked great for our project but there were some weird seams in it that required me to waste material. I would purchase again but just be aware that you might not have a fully usable 50 feet of material.

Good quality adheres very well with a standard household iron. I’m always hesitant on edge banding because I’ve got some that just didn’t adhere well this is not one of those! I ordered a roll and it worked so well I ordered a second

The adhesive is not strong enough and I have to apply contact glue to make sure it bond well.

I purchased this since it had a darker look than normal walnut in all of the pictures. This is completely false and is just standard light coloured walnut edge banding, completely misleading.

Very satisfied. Width is perfect for 3/4 plywood with just enough extra for easy trimming of each side. Good thickness, not brittle. Splices are are almost completely invisible, you really have to look hard to find them. Color is a little darker than maple plywood from my local big box store (Ontario, Canada), but close enough. Grain is very neutral. Glue is consistent for the entire length and bonds very well. Stands up well to light sanding.
