Excellent Garden Trowel
This is one tough trowel! I broke my old one and needed a replacement so I started looking at the options on Amazon. This one caught my eye and the price was right so I decided to give it a try. Yes, it is stainless so I don't have to worry about it rusting like my old one. The handle is cushioned enough that I can use it in really hard soil and still maintain my grip and not hurt my hands. The blade is just the right width. Not too wide - that would make digging in tough soil difficult. Not too narrow, so I can really move a goodly amount of soil with each scoop. This is excellent for all common garden tasks - potting up plants, digging in plants, light cultivating, etc. The only negative I can think of is that it is made in China. Too bad we can't make something like this at a decent price in the US. Still, it is the best trowel I've ever used.

Perfect Trowel
I used this trowel throughout the spring and summer and it works just like it should and it still looks good. I'm impressed with the stainless steel.

QUALITY
I've had this tool for awhile. Was using it again today and thought to myself that I only take the time to leave a review when I'm not happy with a product. This is a quality product for a good price and thought it was worth my time to let others know. Stainless steel, sturdy and comfortable. Don't have to worry about the handle bending from stressing it too much. Just a really good product and not over-priced. As soon as I got the first one and felt it after unpackaging it I immediately ordered another one as I thought a quality product like this would certainly rise in price and in case I mistakenly left my first one out in the weather (I hate myself when I do that.) and lost it or ruined it I wanted to have a back-up.

Nice Trowel
This is a very nice trowel. Seems very sturdy, and well balanced. It is a bit longer than I'd like, but ok. It is stamped stainless steel, made in China. But it seems well made, the handle is a slightly soft feel, including a thumb indent. At least one comment claims it came with instructions to clean, etc, after every use. Mine did not have any such instructions. Seems like it will last a long time. I'm happy with it.

Absolutely sturdy
After viewing some snooty high end sturdy gardening tools on specialty websites, it occurred to me that there must be a better way than spending fifty bucks on a garden trowel that doesn't bend when you try to dig out a rock. I understand that the cheap ones bend when you push too hard. That's what happens with cheap stuff, right? WRONG. This stainless steel gardening trowel costs less than ten bucks, and it's super strong, and why didn't I find this years ago? It's an (almost) unbendable stem welded to a non-yielding shovel. If anything breaks, it's gonna be the weld, and so far, nothing has shown any fault. It's shiny. It's smooth. It's comfortable to hold. And it's not for gently holding your tender soil bundles while softly moving your tender baby stems into a luxurious tender soft pot. It's for stabbing hard soil, pushing rocks around and yelling at the stupid roots that are in the way, all the while whacking them with the edge of the shovel until they finally break. It's for that.

Quality Garden Tool - Wife Loves It!
Bought this as a gift for my garden-mad wife, and it was a huge hit. She's a penny-pincher and has never had many good tools. She'd been using a cheap trowel she bought at a yard sale for a quarter. It kept bending because it was a flimsy piece of dung. (I ordered several other good, new tools, too.) The thick steel of this tool is impressive - very sturdy. Don't think she can bend this one. The oversize handle provides a comfortable grip, and adds leverage, helping to ease the strain to arms and hands - a good ergonomic design. And it feels right - well-balanced and well-proportioned to its tasks. Though heavier than her old one, it tires her less, due to the good handle and the fact that the weight actually helps rather than hinders the work. My wife was surprised how much a well-made tool could help ease a job - you'd think she'd already know that since she's married to me. : ) Highly recommended.

True Heavy Duty stainless steel trowel
I am an avid gardener, frequently leaving trowels out in the rain. This is a thick steel trowel like they made tools 50 years ago plus it is stainless and the handle fits my hand well. The blade is as thick and strong as the blade on my high quality, full size, premium foot spades. It is the real deal, and very reasonably priced. Handle is as rigid as the blade, grip is great. As soon as I got it and saw the quality, I ordered a second one. Not worried about this baby in the weather or bending on a rock. Would be a great inexpensive gift for gardening friends and family. I cannot imagine trying to save 2 or 3 bucks on a cheap trowel instead of this tool. I figure that, when it gets more popular, they'll raise the price $5 or more -- they always do, lol. But guess what, I'll still buy it and not be upset about it.

Put through same heavy use prying rocks out of the ground as I did with my very similar $4 trowel from Dollarama. The $4 one would just bend and I'd bend it back time and time again. This one broke at the weld...weak blade metal. Most people won't break it but it broke too easy for me. On the second short day of usage. Very disappointed. Will save $23 next time and just buy another one from Dollarama. They are very similar. I bet the seller is buying them for $4 or less and making a killing. Being a poor former manufacturing engineer it always bothers me when people selling an item think they deserve more profit than the people who made the item. Disgusting. Maybe worth $10. Oh and on initial inspection the handle was a little loose... should have taken it as a warning and returned it. Giving it 3 stars instead of 1 star because a weak child or grandmother probably wouldn't be able to break or bend it.
