Fit perfect on my 2017 TRD Off Road and love the new look.

Is this plastic or metal/chrome?

This "Accessory" grille, like all of Toyota's grilles is plastic with chromed components as shown.

Does this require any special tools to install or remove clips?

Hi PC, The installation only requires some hand tools and there is a great YouTube video to give you step by step instructions. It takes about 1/2 hour. Thanks. Mike
