Naturalizer Baylor Strappy Dress Sandal for Women, Wide Width

Update 3/8/2025- ok so, I loved them so much I literally wore them till the leather was coming off the front little wedge at the toe. So I bought a second pair and a beige pair. I’m truly amazed how comfortable they are and how much I wear them. They are literally my go to heels for work. I definitely got every penny out of my first pair. I wore them to an after work event also where my husband was a food judge and we had to run around to visit all the food vendors and restaurants and finally by the time I got home after wearing them from 7 am to 830pm and running around several miles after my normal work day, that was when my feet finally started to hurt a little. Not bad. And nothing like the days where when I would wake up after a long day in heels I’d wake to my feel hurting. No more! These are my favorite brand and favorite every day shoe!Original review: I can wear these all day and stand or walk around at work in my normal day and be fine. I actually wore them to a wedding where we had to walk from the parking area to the venue and reception areas, over 2 miles of walking, without issue. My husbands feet in his dress shoes actually hurt and mine didn’t. LOL My husband thinks they look cute. I love heels but my feet always hurt so I had stopped wearing them but these are great and I have no issues doing my normal day of work in them. They were a bit slippery on the soles when I’d walk on our laminate wood floors when I first got them and it took a bit to get enough scuff on the soles but now it’s fine. I want to get another color now because I like them so much!

Beautiful strappy sandal with classic sculpted heel in a glittery bright gold. Dream Pairs makes a basically identical-looking sandal, the Ascenelle, for about $40 (half the price of the Baylor depending on where you shop). The Dream Pairs might even be made in the same Chinese factory as the Naturalizer. Stylistically they're pretty much indistinguishable but the difference is in the structure. The venerable Naturalizer is known for comfort and a side-by-side comparison (which I didn't make) would probably enable you to feel the difference more than see it. If you're attending an event where you have to walk some distance, stand for hours and maybe dance, I would say spring for the extra cost and go with the Naturalizer.

I bought these shoes before, about 5 years ago. I had the tan color so I looked for them every where, I found them at Macy's and the Footwear store for $90. But of course I trust that Amazon would have a better price and they did. My shoes were a size 8.5 so I ordered them in Silver, it might be the material of the Silver compared to the tan color because they were big on me, I ordered a second pair this time a smaller size. It's a winner, the shoes fit perfectly, they are comfortable and they look stylish. I have a very pronounced arch and some shoes do not provide support but this shoes not only have a platform but also the heel is not too wide not to thin, they are perfect for every occasion. The silver for a party or a night out and the tan ones for any every day. I am returning the size 8.5 and getting the tan and the black ones. Whenever I find shoes that are comfortable, sexy, and fits me well ..I buy them in every color. And the price of course, it's a no trainer. First picture the 8.5 second one 8. Get them !!!

I usually wear block or wedge heels only but I wanted a sleek look for an upcoming event. I was nervous about the height because the heel is more narrow than what I’m used to but because of the platform base, they are easy to walk in. These shoes are very comfortable, my left pinky toe does feel a little weird, so I might place a Band-Aid on it when I wear them for my event. There’s a hint of rubbing on that one toe when I walk so that is the reason for deducting one star from my review. The color is darker than I thought but true to nude as the description. I thought they would be more beige than nude but that was my faulty thinking. I have pudgy ankles and the strap still fit. I just didn’t buckle all the way in the pic because I have long nails and my honey wasn’t home to help me. I feel they are true to size. Amazon recommended I buy an 8W but I ignored that and purchased 8 regular width as I don’t normally wear a wide width. If you have a wide foot you should buy the wide width because there isn’t any play, these are a snug fit for me. They are attractive and comfortable so overall I’m pleased.

Loved these shoes!! I have not worn high heels in four years. I wore them to my daughter’s wedding for six hours. I was able to dance in these hills on and off throughout the night!😊

UPDATE SAME DAY (7/16/2026). BECAUSE I LIKED THEM EVEN BEING SLIGHTLY TOO LARGE OVER THE INSTEP, I WAS GOING TO ORDER ANOTHER PAIR A HALF SIZE SMALLER THINKING THE STRAPS WOULD BE TIGHTER. MY ORIGINAL PAIR (SIZE 8) WERE $44.70, AND LESS THAN A WEEK LATER, THE SAME SHOE IS $69.30. THAT'S LIKE A 50% INCREASE. NOT GOING TO ORDER ANY MORE AND WILL LOOK AT DIFFERENT ONES.I really loved these shoes, but had to return. I usually wear an 8, but there is no way to tighten straps over top of foot and they were really loose on my foot. The straps down by the toes were fine, but over the instep, I could put my fingers between the straps and my foot. Wish there was a way to adjust those straps. Felt comfortable for the few minutes I tried them on in the house, but because of the looseness, my foot "wobbled" too much and slipped. I have a somewhat narrow foot, and may order 7.5 size in the future, but the price went up quite a bit before I even returned them within a week.

These sandals are so comfy and look great. Perfect heel height and great sole cushioning and arch support. True to size. Very happy, highly recommend.

Very nice shoes. Perfect for parties. I don’t normally wear heels but these were very comfortable and I even managed to dance in them. Would really like another pair when they restock.
