Bald Cypress | 10 Live Trees | Taxodium Distichum | Fast Growing Shade Tree Wet Tolerant

Cute little trees!They are doing well in our muddy area and am anxious for them to get bigger.We got more than 20 in our order of 10, so definitely worth it.

I was pleasantly surprised at how healthy and intact these cypress seedlings were when they arrived. All 10 were green and ready for planting. Gave them two days to acclimate and then planted them in low areas of the Greenbelt behind my house. Three days after planting they are showing new growth.

Bought for privacy line and wind break. Also to dry up soft ground. Arrived promptly with gel on roots and seem in good condition. Still waiting on some to begin budding, but cypress are among the last trees here to do so, so not that concerned yet. Only issue is with the small root system. Would have preferred a bit more there. If you have liquid rooting hormone on hand, it might help to give them a dip in that. I did. But the powder probably won’t do much.

It’s been a year since I purchased and planted the bald cypress trees. They survived last summer’s drought conditions, have grown over a foot and look beautiful.

I bought 10 bare root bald cypress trees back on February 10th, 2025 when they were dormant, it is now may and they still don't show any growth, so I bent a trunk and it snapped,, it's dead,, they're all dead, I wrote them a complaint and they won't respond back, I've grown and transplanted many many plants and I know what I'm doing,, I believe they arrived dead

Bought these in early winter. They arrived and were pretty much just sticks. Put them in my garage for the winter and recently planted them. All are alive and showing growth. Pleased with the purchase, believe it was a good value for the price.

The 10 pack of saplings arrived well packaged and on time. The root balls were well developed and contained plenty of moisture for the trip. I have planted them but only time will tell how well they perform but from the condition in which they arrived I believe in a few years I’ll have nice shade trees.

I'm a little disappointed but still excited to see how these turn out.1. 👍 I expected them to be defoliated considering the season, so that wasn't a surprise (they actually had more leaves) and they have healthy wood, but2. 👎 the left root ball was short 1 sapling – not a huge problem, but you could bundle in your smallest units to reduce process error – and unfortunately3. 👎 the package had been delivered "upright" lengthwise so the left root ball had shifted and bent/damaged some of the saplings – even some tape over the root ball down to the cardboard would've kept it in place as light as these are.Overall I have a positive outlook but I'll update later after I see how they recover.
