Knives Of AlaskaMagnum Alaskan - SureGrip, Black, 9.5"

I usually don't order a produt that is listed without a single review, so for me...I felt I was taking a flyer knowing nothing about the seller, nor the manufacturer. I was simply looking for a fixed blade for side carry. Not too big and not too small. A balance of weight and function. I didn't know that much about "Knives of Alaska", but this knife looked like it offered everything I wanted in a lightweight hiking/camping knife.Well...it is everything as advertised plus much, much more.Blade came razor sharp in a beautiful leather sheath. I mean RAZOR sharp! The Suregrip is just that... a SURE GRIP. I have no problem giving this knife a solid 5 STARS.Update: Still love this knife. I guess I was glad to get it delivered for $99.48 (that includes S&H) as I see the seller now jacked the price up to $139.99?!? Lucky me, I guess...but still, this knife is worth $140 but if this were the price before I ordered it (August of 2013), I probably would have passed in it.Just saying...

This is a great knife. Sharp as purchased. Quality sheath. Nothing negative to say about this purchase
