Beautiful pan and easy to clean. Cooks well.
It’s a beautiful pan but you have to be cautious because the enameled bottom causes it to slide easily. Maybe rough it up a little. Otherwise this is a great pan. Haven’t burned anything in it yet so haven’t had to baking soda-ed the pan yet. But it’s not too heavy and it’s easy to clean. Bought two.

Yes,well worth it. Great skillet.
This is my 4th Segretto piece and I am not disappointed! The black is beautiful and shiny! SOOO SHINY! The cream interior is beautiful as well. I love that the enamel is nonstick. I prefer using wooden, silicone or rubber utensils. I recommend avoiding metal since it can scrape the enamel coating. It is very easy to clean with warm water and soap but if you have some stuck on bits, you can put some water in the skillet, let it heat up and with a spatula, scrap those bits loose. I've only needed a good non abrasive scrubbing sponge and Dawn Powerwash. This skillet heats up fast and retains the heat really well. You really only need a med to med high heat for most things. Just be sure to add your oil or water before it gets hot to help prevent any damage to you skillet. Don't want any micro cracking! The size of this skillet is great for everyday use for 1-2 people. The handle is really sturdy and easy to hold. Overall, I am super happy with Segretto products. The price is well on point and very reasonable when compared to other unknown brands or well known brands. This is a great start for your enameled cast iron journey.

Very well made
I’m in the process of getting rid of all my Teflon and other non stick pans. I have a nice assortment of cast iron and stainless steel, but need a few enamel pans for cooking acidic sauces such as tomato base ones. The enamel looks like ceramic but it’s not non stick like ceramic. It works great as long as you pre heat the pan and use some fat. Very easy to clean and very thick and heavy which distributes the heat very well.

First Experience with Enameled Cast Iron Cookware
I bought a piece of vintage Scandinavian enamel cookware a few years ago, but it was a huge Dutch oven and while the bright yellow was amusing, I soon put it away in my cabinet. Recently, I noticed that my Caphalon frying pans are losing their coating, so I gave myself permission to do some shopping. My best friend has some Le Creuset pieces so she inspired me to look at enameled cookware. Le Crueset is definitely too expensive, so I looked at Amazon for alternatives. This turquoise cookware by Segretto fit the bill perfectly. I needed a skillet that would not only last, but one that I could leave on my stovetop. These cast iron pieces are rather heavy, so I didn’t want to have to pull it out of my cabinet, each time I needed it. It arrived this afternoon. I wiped it off and placed it on the stove. I poured in some olive oil, and garlic, and proceeded to fry some onions, zucchini and mushrooms. Once caramelized, I added a bit of water and scraped the surface with a silicone spatula. The browned bits loosened up immediately, giving me hope for an effortless clean up…which turned out to be the case! I’m sold! Tomorrow, my Segretto Dutch oven arrives and Coq au Vin is on the menu!

Do NOT buy
If you're looking to buy a less toxic "non-stick" piece of cookware, don't look here. This pan is horrible. A huge waste of money. After just a few months of use and carefully caring for this product, the surface is worn away in the middle in it's all black and everything sticks.

Not a flat bottom
I was so excited to get this skillet to add to my collection of red enameled cookware. I was in the process of moving so today was the first use. I was bummed to say the least. The bottom is not flat and has a rise in the center so all of my grease slid right to the edges leaving the center in greased and caused my eggs to stick while sliding to the edge also. Unfortunately threw the packaging away so I can’t return. Really wish it would have worked like I needed.

Love this skillet!
Excellent quality. Medium high heat (6 out of 10) is more than enough to cook anything you want. It spreads the heat out evenly and retains the heat well. Cleans easily after a few minutes soaking in warm water. The enameled bottom is perfect for my glass top stove. (I scratched the stove-top with my non- enameled cast iron skillet ) I purchased a generic 10.25” lid for it when I bought the skillet but the lid was just a little to big. Oh well, easy return. Just don’t use high heat and this thing should last you a lifetime.
