The American Roommate Experiment revolves around Rosie, an engineer turned romance writer and Lucas, a pro surfer who is Rosie’s best friend’s cousin and she’s been stalking him on social media for months. They end up living in the same apartment due to some unforeseen circumstances and the rest is history. I hope this convinced you to pick this book up! This book made me feel all kinds of butterflies, it made me giddy and so happy. This book was a pure joy to read. Lucas is soo cheesy I wanna highlight everything that he ever says or thinks. He is such a sweetheart, kind, selfless human being you’d always dream about finding in real life. Rosie is a bit shy in the start but she is so fiercely protective of those who she loves, her character was very relatable. It’s like she manifested Lucas into her life but then she became such a big support for him. Aaron and Lina’s appearences are everything for me, oh how I missed them. They play such a great part in this story and I really liked that. And how can I forget Taco, the cutest pup ever! Highly Recommended for all rom com lovers! It was a beautiful book. Had the perfect touch of friendship and romance. I read the book in 1 day's time. If you guys liked this boom, then you should definitely read The Spanish love deception and The deal. This book made me sob, root hard for the characters and extremely swoon worthy. 4.5/5

Amazing book

I CANNOT TALK ABOUT ROSIE AND LUCAS WITHOUT HAVING MY HEART MELT AWAY WITH THE UTMOST LOVE AND BURSTING INTO HAPPY TEARS. I just... I just love them SO much! It's unreal. 😭😭😭😭💓💓💓💓 I cannot put into words just how much their tender, heart melting, meaningfully woven, BEAUTIFUL, swoony, thoughtful and soulful story means to me! There's this softness to them. This gentle kindness and sensitivity that you wish to protect with every bit of your heart. It's the most precious and pure thing I got to experience because of them. 🥺💗 Their friendship, their unconditional love, their deep care for each other and just what and how much they meant to one and another makes me want to sob for an eternity! This is one of the BEST books I've ever read. It has my whole, entire heart and soul and being. Rosie and Lucas are going to stay with you forever, make you smile the brightest, touch your soul with the beautiful love that they share, make you cry because of how precious they are, envelope your heart in the biggest hug and paint your world cotton candy pink and sparkling blue. They radiate comfort, warmth and the purest form of love! 😭💛 You really, truly don't want to miss out on knowing them. I promise, they'll steal your heart and make it theirs. 🥺😍

"Oh my god"! This book is hands down one of the most solid reads I've had in a long time! The plot is gripping, the characters are unforgettable, and the emotional depth hits hard. Plus, it’s deliciously spicy, adding just the right amount of heat. Highly recommended!

This book is "just perfect" for the hopeless romantics... Perfect blend of humor, passion, love, heartbreak...the lines weren't too cheesy. And Lucas Martin is the perfect date planner. Honestly it's better than The Spanish love Deception. This has been a good read.

OKAY SO Please, please read this book. It’s a steamy, sexy, friends-to-lovers slow-burn with an insanely charming, kind, and selfless gentleman (Lucas) who would give the woman (Rosie) whatever she wanted. He is the king of cheesy grand gestures! He really is too good to be true, which is true because he’s fictional 😭 And— he cooks! Yummy, delicious food. Fans of Mamma Mia and The Vampire Diaries may also love it (because one— Dancing Queen, and two— the masquerade ball; you’ll know it when you read it)! Also, Aaron and Lina (from The Spanish Love Deception) make a couple of appearances in the book so there’s nothing you can’t love in here!

"The American roommate experiment " It's a rom-com book. Its about a Girl name Rosie and a boy name Lucas and their beautiful love story. If you read "The spanish Love Deception" you will know who Rosie is. Yes she the same Rosie Lina's bestfriend. Rosie writing a romantic novel but she is out of ideas . Lucas is Lina's cousin he try to help Rosie to gave her some experimental date. End was beautiful and the way Lucas treat Rosie is also beautiful. Lina and Rosie's friendship was one of the most purest thing in the book. But sometimes I get a little distracted .if you love romantic book you should read this one .

Could not put his book down. Is a steamy romance but with great humor and is well written. Definitely worth the read

“I read you like you were my favorite book, Rosie. Like I’ve memorised you.” —— I’m just going to say it…Lucas Martin > Aaron Blackford any day. He is now one of my top tier fictional boyfriends!! I said what I said. Normally, I’m not the biggest fan of slow burn romances depending on how they’re written but that specific trope in this novel was executed to perfection. At times it caused me to feel a literal ache in my heart! I generally found myself loving everything about Lucas and Rosie’s story from start to end. Every cute scene, every meaningful word, every experimental date, every steamy kiss was just *chefs kiss* which is why I will always recommend this novel to fellow romance readers!

Lucas, hi. WHY IN THE WORLD ARE YOU SO DAMN PERFECT AND FICTIONAL AND HAD TO BE A PERSON I WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO MARRY WITHOUT LOOKING LIKA A COMPLETE LUNATIC. Thank you for coming to my ted talk. Okey seriously though, this man, is, perfect, and of course fictional and I will never meet him in real life and that makes me really really sad. I loved Lucas from the first second we meet him and I knew he would be this adorable man who would do anything for Rosie. Rosie and Lucas relationship throughout this hold book was just amazing and the groups, it wasn’t fake dating but it was fake dating, you know what I mean! It was just amazing and genius, this masterpiece of a romance book. I loved The Spanish love deception as well, its something with the way Elena Armas writes books that make me go obsessed with them. Both Aaron and Lucas are snacks and I would do anything for them. But there’s a difference between Lucas and Aaron, I cant put my finger on what. I adore them both but in two complete different ways. I also loved how we got to see Aaron and Lina in this book and what happened to them after their book. But it didn’t take away from that Rosie and Lucas were the MCs and that they had their own story’s. I loved that Rosie was a romance author struggling and that Lucas had his own trauma he was battening with it, they helped each other out from darker places and found the light together. The spice in this book as well was amazing and the slow burn just made it so much better!

A really good story for folks who like romance. Armas' writing is funny, witty, and insightful, and the characters are diverse. I loved it!
