Kilner Stainless Steel Easy Fill Funnel, Compatible with Various Jam Jars, Mess-free and Dishwasher Safe

This is perfect for making jam because when I fill the jar and the jam reaches the funnel, it is the right amount(1/4 inch from top of jar). I also find it useful for filling jars with dry oatmeal, rice, etc. it’s a great tool, and dishwasher safe.

Love this funnel. It's to clean by hand and dishwasher safe if necessary. The logo wiped right off when I cleaned it before the first use (must have been silk-screened on) but no bother. We use this for filling ziplock baggies with pre-measured ingredients to set aside for hummingbird nectar (we make a batch every week or two so I set them up in advance for the season so I don't have to dig out of utensils, etc, every time) and pastry crusts. It's also great for pouring the nectar in large mouth nalgene bottles that we store in the fridge.

Advantages of this funnel over other plastic ones: -metal is thinner, so you can fit the neck into smaller diameter openings. I have 9 oz hex jars that aren't compatible with my other plastic canning funnels because their openings are slightly smaller than that of the standard Ball/Kerr jar. -The neck only extends down a fraction of an inch. With the typical headspace, this means that the bottom does not drag in whatever substance you're canning, so you're less likely to transfer stuff onto the rim of the next clean jar.

...do NOT put it in your dishwasher, no matter what the instructions on the tag say! I did when it first arrived to sanitize it before use and rust spots formed on the outer rim. Fortunately, a little Cerama-Bryte and elbow grease took the spots off again. I'll be hand washing this funnel and immediately drying it with a towel from now on.

I bought this to fit inside powdered coffee cream plastic containers. Seems like the all of the other ones on Amazon are 2.25" (outside Diameter of stem at bottom). This is about a 1/4 smaller (outside stem diameter) and fits perfectly. Sturdy, and low profile so it stores easily in my kitchen drawer. I do not see the logo on the side, but all the same to me. Definitely would buy again if needed.

I've been searching for a stainless steel funnel that is narrow enough to fit inside the opening of my wide mouth hydro flask & kleen kanteen stainless steel bottles. This fits the bill perfectly! Nice quality, shiny, smooth stainless. Now I can use my hydro flask & kleen kanteen for more than just fluids! Chunky soups, stir fry, mashed potatoes, etc. Way easier than trying to fill it one spoon full at a time.

The best that there is out there... I have had mine for over 10 years.... and recently bought one for my daughter and my sister.... these are a MUST have if you cook, ferment & can!! I use it several times a week- and every time I use it- I say to myself -- "This is one of my best purchases EVER"!!!!!

I have needed this for so long, it has made life lots easier. I use it to quickly get ingredients into my mason jars instead of all over the counter.

The narrow part is shorter than the one in the picture shown by the seller. I had seen other reviews asking for the update of the item description. I wonder why it has not yet been corrected. Edit: After months of using this funnel for my coffee preparations, I have found it more useful than the coffee funnels specially made for coffee. I love it. I am increasing my rating from 3 to 5 stars.

Ein wirklich hilfreicher Trichter, für Einweggläser, z.b von Weck. Ich hätte mir gerne noch einen Griff oder Henkel daran gewünscht aber auch so bin ich sehr zufrieden.

I chose this as I have a few of their jars and they’re good quality. I actually bought this as when I’m filling my food thermos, I end up with food all down the sides of the thermos and it’s a terrible mess. I couldn’t work out from the advert the size of the hole that the food falls through so I took a punt and ordered it. Now this is the absolute perfect size for the job! As you can see in the photo, it sits perfectly on top of the flask. It’s a nice lightweight stainless steel and it stores nicely. I think this thing is intended for jam making really but honestly it’s perfect for my use too.
