Yes its really good insulated jacket does get hot but when the inside is 500 deg C but its not at a temperature that would cause serious burns . It takes 30 min to get up to temp but then WOW. I upgraded from a cheaper unit and must say that its money well spent. Construction quality is excellent and its really easy to use.Although its portable its very heavy but unless you are thinking of lugging around the countryside its not a problem. Th pizza peel supplied is also excellent quality although I would suggest also buying the turning peel as the cook is so fast you need to turn the pizza regularly or the side will burn.It provides a flame that mimics a big oven and the stone cooks the base but the top quickly cooks from above.Impressed!
