Effective, if imprecise, diamond abrasive files.
These files have a very effective abrasive finish and each shape has its uses. I'd give them a higher rating if they were made a bit more precisely. The triangle and narrow triangle saw sharpening files in this set would be better if the edges were more precise. Still, they're capable of putting a wicked (if slightly imprecise) edge on the teeth of worn bi-metal oscillating saw blades that cost more than this entire set of files, so even if I knew how imprecisely these things were made, I'd purchase this set again anyway. A bit more Q/C in some Chinese factory, and this set would be too good to be true. Even as-is, it's a decent buy as long as you don't require too much precision. In that case, you'll need to just pay up and get an expensive precision file.

Decent for the right application.
I purchased these for use with plastic modeling. For that purpose, they are larger Tha I had anticipated, but do a great job at quickly shaping the plastic. The quality of the product and its packaging is indicative of the region it was made.I would not purchase these for use with metal or stone if the intention was to have a set that would last beyond a few projects.I hope this review is helpful on your decision.

Tolerances not good enough to be called Precision
As a gross filing tool it okay, as a "precision" filing tool...it is not that good.I need a file set that can get into small places and take material off the item I am filing. The various file types have varying thicknesses. You can get comparable sets for $9.00 less - 1/2 price. On some of the files the tips is to thick but the body is thinner. Or the bevel on the curved units may not be completely "curved" with a flat spot so rocking the file is difficult.

Good files
A nice set of variable shaped diamond files. The durability seems low (but i am sharpening roll hardened stainless, for those that know, so my expectation may be excessive). After a good sharpening event (just one file used) i expect a file will hold up to at least 3-6 more uses, for me thats 6 months. I like how diamond files sharpen on booth the forward and back stroke. Diamond will cut (sharpen) things like hardened steel effectively. I will be sharpening for quite some time with this pack. Will buy again.

Very impressed
I bought a vintage porcelain candle holder from the 1950s. There was a factory flaw on it (see image) but I thought I might be able to file it down. So I found these files, which note that they work on ceramic. Worked beautifully and in seconds the weird flaw was gone (see second photo). So happy!

perfect for the right job
what i like about these is that they were simple and affordable.... what i was trying to use them for they were not suitable to be used on, i was trying to use them on a hard would product. as stated in the description these are perfect for jewelers 4 very soft materials in general

Not well-made
I had high hopes for these files. I needed to file a rough spot on a ring. But the grit of these files is very coarse—definitely not for fine work. The build quality is obviously lacking. Basically I wish I had not bought them, but now they're in my tool box. Hopefully, they'll come in handy one day.

work well
Files work well in shaping rock material including quartz. The harder materials cause some degradation and loss of abrasive and some of the files that are used frequently likely will not last more than a year. That is well within our expectation bases on the application and experience.
