Charmed by romance
I probably shouldn’t have liked this as much as I did because the book is full of improbabilities! Other books I’ve read have irritated me and had me saying “well that would never happen!”! or “we don’t eat cornbread in England!”.It’s testament to the writing that the characters won me over and I had a lovely few hours reading of Eleanore and Marcus. A delightful , fun and romantic escape .

I so Enjoyed this series!!!
I read all of these books in the Wishing Well and Wishing Well Seminary series, with this being my favorite! They all have witty writing, plot twists, heros that match the heroines, with each providing different but related tales, with fun regency adventures and romance that fits the period ! Please write faster, I am waiting for more of your delightful stories ! I am hooked, and I read a lot of books that are nice but not as much fun, or that have me shed a few tears. Well done.

A wonderful read!
Romance, mystery plus an intriguing heroine and an unredeemable rake - or is he a hero?I think this is the best of a wonderful series!Couldn’t put it down & the laugh out loud moments still make me smile.Sofi really has a wonderful writing style.

enemies to lovers and a sassy blue stocking
In this enemies-to-lovers clean romance, a sassy, prim blue stocking with a secret past and a rake of a Duke who’s only pretending at being ornery collide in all sorts of fun ways. Once barriers are torn down, the two protagonists begin to connect in thoughtful and surprising ways, and I was invested almost immediately. This romance breaks out of the character and plot cookie cutter mold, making it a lovely, satisfying read.

the best yet
Loved, loved, loved this story. I laughed so much until I cried. And I cried because of the wonderful relationship between Eleanore and Marcus. The sparks in their bantering and outlook on life was just delightful. A beautiful story. It’s the best so far in the series. A must read.

Miss Silver sham and the Pesky Duke (Book 1) By Sofi Laporte
Five stars, opposites attract, Eleanor head of a school for young ladies meets Marcus the Duke of wicked. Butt heads they did, and a attraction grew. Both had baggage, they would have to deal with it before they can be happy. Good ending.
