My tea cup fur baby loves this coat and so do I. Very good quality, warm to wear, easy to put on and the colors are bright and vibrant. The XS is the perfect size for my tiny tea cup Chihuahua. Bought a size small for my 12 year old miniature poodle (12 lbs). I wanted something to take on and off easily which this does. She is fine inside but needs a little warmth outside so I just use it for her to go outside and this quick to put on. The velcro is in all the right places and there is a big opening to hook to a dog harness. The light weight coat is absolutely beautiful and vibrant. Definitely well made.

My 16 year old Lhasa Apso is stiff and needs something I can put on and remove easily. I love that I don’t have to force his legs through arm holes or pull anything over his head. This poncho is well made. I chose the blue version. It does not feel stiff or scratchy, which is important to me. It bends with him when he curls up to sleep. My dog is approximately 18lbs and wears the medium size. The size chart was accurate for us. I was worried the velcro parts would be cumbersome or irritating to his neck/belly but the design seems fine. The belly velcro doesn’t have to be pulled tight in order for the whole thing to stay put. I like that I can let it hang a little, it should be even more comfortable that way. From a design standpoint, the poncho doesn’t run the risk of getting peed (or pooped) on. This was a concern. If you’ve ever had something that did not fit well then you know what I’m talking about. If your pet does well in a sweater, this poncho should be no different. From a heft or warmth standpoint, this poncho is more sweater-weight and and not too heavy for indoors. Then again, I live in Denver. If I lived in the south maybe it would be a heavy outside coat. :) My dog will wear it both indoors and outdoors. I can see why this poncho has such great reviews. I have not washed it yet, but so far so good. I’m glad I bought this instead of a more traditional sweater or fleece.

My dog loves it, warm and comfortable, and she looks great in it; it fits better than most of the shirts or sweaters we've tried. Almost every part it is very well made. Good pattern match, good stitching on edges, surprisingly nice. Except the slit in the back for the harness loop to come through. It's a good size, situated well, but the cut edges are "bound" with a very shoddy cotton seam binding, no edges sewn under and barely sewn at all - one loosely stitched seam around the slit, but no reinforcement. After one wearing the binding was coming off. I did my best at reinforcing it with close hand stitching, but I think we'll have to use the harness on top of the poncho instead of underneath, and just sew the back slit closed. Too bad - there will be an odd black rectangle in the middle of the back that appears to have no purpose. I will keep it - girls like to look nice, even 60-pound pitty mixes.

This is a very well made product! It’s thick so it is hot for summer or warmer months. Beautiful colours and Luka looked so handsome in it! He didn’t even mind wearing and it was so easy to put on and take off! It fit Luka perfectly and he’s roughly 110 lbs. highly recommend for a cinco de mayo pawty

I have a 45lb mix breed who is often cold in winters (he curls up into his "infinity dog" pose, basically as tight of a ball as he can be to preserve warmth). I was shopping for him for his birthday and came across this poncho. Being hispanic myself there are many blankets and seat covers that have this same pattern so, naturally, this caught my eye so my bff can match! The fact that the company donates to dogs in need is a massive plus!! Even more of a plus is how well its made, how easy it is to put on/remove, and how the access point cut into the back PERFECTLY lines up with my dogs harness! Its literally a perfect match! I put this on my dog every morning before letting him outside and he LOVES it! we take it off when its time for breakfast but usually he pulls it off the wall to lay on it while I get ready for work. He would literally wear this all day if I would let him! Only slight bummer is its hand wash only, but after a couple times of washing it its nice to see the color, size, and fit remain the same. HIGHLY recommend! if you're on the fence JUST DO IT!!

I first ordered the wrong size and contracted the company for some help with sizing. They were very helpful. I sent the first one back and ordered the correct size and it looks so cute on my chihuahua who has a 12 inch neck! He is tiny but has a big neck! The poncho is really well made and the colours are vibrant. I really like how it fits and looks and so does my little furbaby!

Technically made for dogs but we bought for our skittish cat to keep her feeling secure and warm. It's well made and she seems to like wearing it.

Inzwischen haben wir zwei dieser Hundeponchos. Für unseren eher langbeinigen, aber schlanken Chihuahua perfekt, die Größe lässt sich super anpassen. Da der Poncho tatsächlich mexikanisch wirkt, ist ein kleines Augenzwinkern dabei. Super, wenn der Mantel nicht wasserdicht sein muss für Herbst und Frühjahr, nicht im kältesten Winter.

LOVE them ! They are very well made and easy to take on and off. They seem comforable on the dogs none if them tried to get them off.I would suggest ordering a size up. The dogs in the picture are in a size Medium, Large & XL. Very happy with the Baja Ponchos !
