We searched for the appropriate airline approved, sturdy dog carrier for our overseas trip and this couldn't have been more perfect. Our Chihuahua/Poodle/Terrier has long legs so we were concerned that he wouldn't be comfortable for the 12+ hrs. flight in the basic bag type carrier. In this one, he was able to sit up as well as stand to turn around. Additionally the fact that it was expandable, he could literally stretch out comfortably when he wasn'tin backpack mode. It also has a safety strap that we could attach to his harness and feel at ease knowing that we could open up his little window without fear he'd jump out. We had others pet parents asking us where we got it. Great backpack carrier! Does the job and looks great!

Mi compañerita es una french mini toy de 8 años, y cupo exacto para ella. Me encantó que los cierres vienen con seguros y así estoy mas tranquila que no se abrirán. Para perros medianos no es la transportadora adecuada ya que no darían. Adjunto fotos de ejemplo. (El segundo perro es uno de raza mediana, no cabe en la transportadora.) Espero les ayude :)

This worked great for my big 17lbs boy. It was a little cozy but luckily the back opens up for more space! Good quality and durable.

Used this for our holiday traveling (14lb Mini Schnauzer). She loves it. Left the top window open while walking through the airport and got a laugh out of people telling her hello. Expanded the back at the gate so that she could stretch out. Fit great under the seat on the plane. Very sturdy and comfortable to wear.

This is a good carrier for an animal up to 10 or so lbs. The expandable part is great because it allows your pet good space to relax in while you're stationary. My two "buts" are 1) the construction is such that the side compartments where you put your pet in do not easily zip up. You have to physically make sure the zipper teeth are lined up before you can close it. The zipper itself is not robust enough to do this by itself. I find it really difficult to transfer my wiggling, somewhat reluctant dog into it. 2) The clips which link the two zippers and keep the side opening closed are really small and hard to latch. And I have small hands.This is a good carrier for the price but a bit disappointing in construction. I've been using it for about 18 months.
