Does it come with a power supply?

No. And it doesn't require a separate power supply. It gets both power and diagnostics directly from your truck's OBD port. You can temporarily use a 12V adapte or Type-c cable (not included) to power on, but this will NOT enable vehicle diagnostics.

Can it do DPF regen on all engines?

It supports DPF regen on major engines like Cummins, Paccar, Caterpillar, Detroit, Volvo, Mack, International/Maxxforce, Isuzu, Fuso, and Hino. Some newer Freightliner trucks with Detroit engines use the UDS protocol, which is not supported.

Is this a bidirectional tool?

It reads/clears codes, runs DPF regen, Oil Reset and shows live data—but it does not support coding or parameter programming.

Do I need Wi-Fi to use it?

Only for the first-time setup and updates. Once activated, it works offline with no Wi-Fi needed.

What if it shows ECU error or won't connect?

Best for BMW and mini Cooper.

If you have a Mini or a Bmer this is the code reader you need. I didn't even start my car and it cleared up all the alarms. So much cheaper than a repair shop.

Does not support BMW special features for E85

As an OBD reader it is easy to use. However it does not support BMW special features for the E85 chassis. It was not useful for me so I returned the reader.
