Picture and sound stink even with direct access with nothing in between the units. Like to get my money back.
So far terrible reception thru a single wall. Have to test more. Direct site seems OK but that is not the typical use.

Hot trancmitter
Initially good performance after 30 minutes transmitter became hot and sound and video distorted. Returned.

5.8GHz HDMI AV Sender
I purchased this AV sender set to replace one with older technology. This was a bit of a disappointment because the reception is not as good as my 8 year old set. I have a TV out on our Deck that I have used my older set for 8 years. When we had people outside using the internet / WIFI, I would get some interference. With this set I no longer have any WIFI interference, however the reception is very touchy on antenna placement. I have it working for a good picture, however when someone opens the sliding glass door, the picture will turn to snow, then come back in a bit. My older set working in the same location, same setup had much better reception even though it was not advertised at 1/3 the distance of this one.Update: down grading to 2 star as now the interference has gotten even worse. I have now switched back to my old set. I will try this in another location later, but I can not recommend this product at all.

Low Quality Product
Signal only receives in 480P PAL. The manual is written in Chinglish which is no help whatsoever. Forget about transmitting to another room. Plan to return this product ASAP.

Good Product but in my case didn't work much for other reasons.
Nice product but after a week it started giving some issues with the signal.
