I have used these before. The taste is fine as long as you are using for accents. It seems to dry more slowly than regular royal icing but is really great for stenciling, etc. When I opened the envelope it was full of pearl powder which had come open during shipping. Maybe it would be better to place in a box or at least some sturdy padding.
