Team dysfunction isnโt just a leadership problemโitโs a teammate problem, and often your team's biggest problem. Thatโs what makes You Are the Team different. Yes, leaders play a critical role in moving teamwork toward dreamwork ; however, it always begins with the me-work โthe personal responsibility, mindset, and daily habits each teammate brings to the table. That's what strengthens team culture and helps build great teams. You Are the Team is not just a book for leadersโitโs a full team building experience , ideal for: โข Team development for any type of team โ business, athletics, education, healthcare, and more โข Team meetings โข Team building workshops โข Onboarding new team members and employees โข Organizational-wide team culture initiatives โข Training programs โข Team retreats and coaching for greater teambuilding results If youโre looking to elevate teamwork by strengthening ownership, trust, and accountability at every level, this book gives your people the mindset and practical tools to make it happen. Written in a clear, relatable style, itโs easy to read and meaningful for teammates in any role or background. Top-down mandates rarely fix team culture problems or build great teams. Theyโre fixed when every team member starts asking better questions about how they show up. After reading You Are the Team , teammates begin asking: โข Am I truly putting the team first, or just looking out for myself? โข Can others count on me to follow through without needing reminders? โข Am I taking full ownership of my attitude, performance, and results? โข Do I speak up with honesty and courage, or stay silent and avoid discomfort? โข What kind of energy do I bring to my team, and is it helping or hurting? โข Do I shut down gossip and negativity, or quietly participate in it? โข Am I setting the example I wish others would follow? The questions above are only the beginning of the questions teammates will start asking themselves - and the change that follows. With captivating stories, relatable examples, introspective questions, and a practical Teammate Assessment, this book challenges how teammates think and equips them with the tools to elevate their personal performanceโand the performance of the entire team. Great teams start with great teammates. Written by Michael G. RogersโFormer Fortune 50 Company Learning, Performance, and Quality Director, Inc. Top 100 Leadership Speaker, university management lecturer, and the author of Do You Care to Lead? โ A 5-Part Formula for Creating Loyal and Results-Focused Teams and Organizations . You Are the Team is being used by teams across the globe to create lasting behavioral change and build team cultures that drive results. It is a teambuilding book that will change you, your team, and your entire organization. Review: Amazing!! - This has been a great read being a coach and trying to bring mental health awareness into sports. I love the real life stories that relate to each topic and how it fits perfectly with high school athletes. The prompts have been super helpful when giving my athletes a prompt for writing in their journals. 100% recommend this to all coaches! Review: Being part of a great team starts with you! - You will not be disappointed with this book! It gets to the nitty gritty of what it takes to be a great teammate. No matter your role, profession, or life experience you will walk away from this book with valuable, actionable techniques to make yourself more enjoyable and accountable to work with. This book makes you reflect on how you are as a team member. It gives you thought provoking questions to ask yourself and your team to make you a better teammate. It starts with you. How do you measure up? The activities are practical and simple to implement in your day to day life. They are not just for the work place. I often found myself thinking about my friendships and personal relationships as well. As a leader for over 10 years, I took away many aha moments and nuggets that I started to use with my team (the one I lead and my peer team of leaders). These 6 B's will take you on a journey to greatness. What resonated most with me were two areas: seeking out feedback from your teammates about your performance/how you are as a teammate and holding yourself accountable rather than placing blame when mistakes happen. Two things I don't see happen enough within a team dynamic. I am part of a winning team but these 6 ways will enhance our connection on so many levels. Thank you Michael for such a great book.

6 Simple Ways Teammates Can Go from Good to Great" is solid Teamwork GOLD
Once in a while an author strikes solid Gold. Mike Rogers did just that! "You Are the Team: 6 Simple Ways Teammates Can Go from Good to Great" is solid Teamwork GOLD. Full of nuggets of usable stories, excellent narrative, easy to understand how-tos in taking your self and your team to the next level. Mike has a wonderful, user friendly writing style that enables all levels of person (age, position in leadership, etc) to grasp each of the 6 ways in going from Good to Great in Teamwork. As I read the content it enabled me to assess where I stand personally, how I can apply it to teams I interact with, and "Yes", even to my family and other relationships. Practical and doable! Maybe I should say, it is Solid Gold and the heart of the content radiates the value of many precious stones. Amazing enough it matters not how you come to the book, even if the reader starts as a "diamond in the rough". You will I promise upon completion reach of the stars and step up to a new level in your commitment to becoming the best you can be as a teammate that makes the difference in those teams you are involved with. Good Job Mike! Onward and Upward! The Best is Yet to Come!

Become a better team member today! Easy to read and apply into your daily life.
This book has inspired me to be a better team member! I have already become a better manager because of it. I have implemented a number of the suggestions, specifically being positive and celebrating a team members success in front of everyone. It was fun to watch the positive chain reaction of events take place by the simple act of celebrating another team member publicly. I appreciated how readable the book was. There was not a lot of big words or fancy jargon. It was direct and to the point on how to become a better team member. I really enjoyed the number of short stories that helped to drive certain points home. Another aspect of the book I liked was that after each section it stops you and asks you how can you apply the principles you just learned into your daily life. I found the book to be well written and easily applicable as a team member, a manager, a husband and a father. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to improve themselves and the team that they are on!

The Epitome of Team "Be" Attitudes
This is a must read if you are leading a tribe, or learning to do so. I loved the pace and practicality of the application suggestions at the end of every chapter. Rogers is an excellent guide for anyone who is on, or building a team. Stories are relevant and demonstrates additional application of each "Be" attitude explored in this book. Michael Roger's "You are the Team" You Are the Team: 6 Simple Ways Teammates Can Go from Good to Great sits next to Seth Godin's "Tribe" Tribes: We Need You to Lead Us and The Five Dysfunctions of a Team: A Leadership Fable "The Five Dysfunctions of a Team" by Patrick M. Lencioni in my library. This well crafted and actionable book also has a downloadable Workbook for purchasers and is accompanying me on my next trip. Oh, and there is an assessment to determine what kind of Teammate you are. Huge value. Great reference. I intend to purchase a copy or "You are the Team" for each of my board members.

Feel cheated to buy a book of just 118 pages for Rs 2061/-
Its too expensive! At Rs 2061/- its very very expensive. Shouldn't be more than Rs 200/- . Highly over priced. The contents also seem very simple and common. Nothing great about this book. Just want to caution all buyers.
