Ingersoll Rand 2146Q1MAX 3/4" Drive Air Impact Wrench

I love this gun so far, it has more torque then ones that cost 3 times as much! I've broke bolts loose, that I couldn't do with a braker bar!

Absolutely horrible output, even worse tightening. Don’t waste the money. I read the reviews and gambled. I bought this for doing u bolts on semi’s because my older IR composite is getting tired. I was trying to get the older model in a TI but they don’t make anymore. Everything is switching to quiet model. This is my 3rd IR composite 3/4, it’s the worst. I just bought a 1/2” IR 2235 TI. Had them both on a yoke puller the 3/4 stopped. The 1/2” turned it. Unreal, I wish I could return. Still on the market for something tough. Might try aircat!

Outside of units approaching $2,000, this gun hits the hardest of any out there. The advertised torque numbers are way closer than any HF or other off brand variants. I use it very often at my heavy diesel equipment job. I have tried most of the others out there. Matco has nothing on this IR gun. Mac or Cornwell either. Aside from the Snap On or IR’s true industrial units weighing like, 25 pounds, this thing rules the shop.

It’s light and easy to handle. Lacks in the power department. I’ve used larger, heavier impacts that have more power. Good for lighter duty work. Torx head screws loosen up. I put some more loctite on the screws and reinstalled.

Has a lot of power. Works great.

This thing doesn’t have enough power to unscrew the lid off a mayonnaise jar. It terrible. Don’t buy this and expect any power. My 3/8 inch cheep wrench from harbor freight kicks its but. I give it one star because there are no lower levels to give it. It should be negative 5 stars.

I have used Ingersoll rand products for a long time. Has plenty of power and actually pretty comfortable to use. Down side is that IRS other products are suffering from poor design, specifically their 1/2 in. drive impacts and angle grinders…..triggers should be made of other material than plastic. UPDATE…. I work in the heavy duty truck industry. I used this gun exactly 3 times and now it just blows air(something broke in the anvil system). 2000 ft lbs???….never last to reach it. I guess the quality went down on these as well. I purchased an Aircat to replace it. They (AIRCAT) have their s**t together.

I have had this impact for two years now. It sees a tremendous amount of use and has held up just fine. Lots of power, but still easy to control and lightweight for what it is. Zips lugs off that are rusted fast no problem. If it cant turn it, it'll break it. I am giving three stars because the drive directional selector will pop out at random. It is covered under warranty but I am unable to send it in because I use it nearly daily. My coworker has the exact same impact and his does the same thing.

Lo uso con un compresor de 100 litros, no se si tendrá algo que ver el compresor que es pequeño. Luego el marcador que te indica si se usa con más presión o menos, no se mueve del mínimo. Lo trabajo con 9 de bar y a ponerlo en marcha se pone en 6
