anyone know if this will work with nutrichef tap? i want it as a backup. thanks

Should be the same thread, all the mini kegs of this style are pretty universal.

Can this be used as a water bottle? I work in a brewery and think this would be awesome to keep in the breakroom as a water bottle😁

No reason why not - but it may not be convenient to drink from. They are very well made.

Could i use this in my kegerator?

You could with some modifications. But it is made for a mini draft cap and to put in your fridge

Does this use the standard D coupler? Could I attach a standard keg hose line to it

No. There is no ball check valve or dip tube to draw the liquid from the bottom. The top is just a threaded hole to receive the stainless steed top, or a "mini keg double ball lock dispenser" (https://www.amazon.com/Double-Dispenser-Stainless-Growler-Homebrew/dp/B07MKPZSNR/ref=sr_1_9?crid=34AKSSKTX8DCO&keywords=mini+keg+tap&qid=1638204714&s=home-garden&sprefix=mini+keg%2Cgarden%2C259&sr=1-9) This will have a rubber tube that reaches to the bottom and allow you to pressurize and dispense (I use a Co2 cartridge system to pressurize and either picnic tap or faucet connected to a quick disconnect). The dispensing is a bit slow as it's hard to keep enough pressure in the system due to lack of head space inside the keg. That lack of pressure leads to foaming when using a picnic tap. Hope that helps.

Good to share beer or hard seltzer with friends.

Nice for taking some homebrew to a small gathering or tasting to friends. I would suggest getting filler that shuts off the flow of liquid in a closed system, Kegland has one for homebrewers and many outlets sell it at a fair price.

Seems well built for my purpose... and Urn.

My father was a fun guy and loved his beer... a lot. So, this will be his urn. It should protect and last a while if buried (longer than a casket anyway). I needed a small one for a portion... since most will be spread at his ranch. Yes, some think I'm crazy, but this is a lot better than some of those other urns. I even had it engraved.
