Terrific
Very happy with my purchase. Thank you.

Needs a fulcrum to actually pull dandelions out.
I have a dandelion weeder with a bend in the metal to give some support against the ground when pulling up a weed. But the metal is too thick to get it into my compacted decomposed granite soil far enough to grab a dandelion root. I thought this Seymour weeder would be better. And it is. I can get it quite far into the ground. The problem is that I can't pull up the root 'cause the handle part sinks into the ground when I try. So I carry a block of wood with me to put under the bottom side of the tool - gives some support (like a fulcrum) so the pointy end can pull up the root. Not real convenient but works much much better that way. Very well made just not as functional as I'd hoped.

Works great!
This is just like the weed digger I lost. I love it! Comfortable handle and digs into the sod easily to pop out those pesky weeds!

Seymour 41035 Dandelion Weeder, Very good tool.
I like every thing about this tool. I hate dandelions and I dig them out. Cannot use weed killer because I have a dog. Very easy to use and the end is sharp and it is very easy to dig the weed out. Unless you rip out the very long tap root, the dandelion grows back. I dig it out and then use vinegar and salt to kill the weed. It costs a little more but unless I misplace this tool, I expect years of use from it. I am glad I purchased this.

TOTAL QUALITY
This year, our Lawn, (mostly zoysia) has become Infected with Crab Grass... and from my experience, nothing, short of Round-Up will Kill Crab Grass...but also everything else for 3-4 months. So, I've taken the task, upon myself, to remove, manually, all the Crab Grass, including the roots. This Dandelion Tool is Extremely Sturdy and Sharp, aiding in the easy removal of the Well Rooted Crab Grass. As the weeds are being cleared, I'm adding a high grade Top Soil to level out the ground, and reseeding.

Nifty Little Tool
Honestly, this is a great little tool. Helps me pull weeds at the root and doesn't take much effort. Highly recommend you use it after a rainy day, as the soil will be moist and roots will be easier to remove whole. Only thing to consider is that you have to get down on your knees to use it. Either buy yourself a cushion for your knees or, if you have a back problems, consider buying a standing tool.

Excellent Tool
This tool is the best tool for use within your manicured areas. BEST! As soon as it arrived, I used my bench grinder to put a fish, sharp, aggressive edge on it, and it does not disappoint! The relatively small head (compared to the Wilcox All Pro 13" Weeder) is perfect for the random, one-off tap-rooted weeds found (e.g., dandelions) in your lawn or your vinca/ivy/ground cover beds. You can skooch it in amongst runners, and cut "only" what you want to cut.

Happy Hubby
Okie dokie, if I didn't make the hubby happy after he lost the one that he had for many years. There were so many of these that didn't quite fit the bill. This one does what you need it to..w/out any chitchkie features. Hubby did paint the handle a rather vibrant color..so not to loose THIS one. :-)

Good product
Very useful tool, not only for weeds but I also used it to dig out carrots from the garden.Word of advice - if you cannot advance the tool deep enough into the ground, you will not get the entire dandelion root out. The root will break off.

So simple, so effective.
Best little weed remover EVER! Goes deep to the root and easily pops the nasty invader right out. So simple - So effective! I have conquered the battle with this little device. Thank you!!!

Effective dandelion weeding tool
This hand tool does exactly what it is meant to do: pops out dandelions. You poke it straight down a few inches into the soil immediately next to the base of the centre of the plant so you can pop up the taproot. You will need a little practice, but you should get the hang of it.

It is strong
I ripped the handle off of the one I was using and this one is much sturdier good for a construction worker that isn’t used to being gentle not sure what else you can want from a steel rod with a handle

Not very sturdy
Quality is so so. Not quite useful. Try to use it on my lawn but not very helpful.
