Not sheets
These are pillow cases only. I read the product name and saw bed sheets, pillow cases figured it was a set. That is not the case, this is for the pillows only. The product name should be changed for this mix up doesn't happen to other buyers. Took a star off for that. The feel of the cases and quality are top notch and well made. I do like the charcoal grey color as well.

Very good quality for the price
The pillowcases were much higher quality than anticipated, especially for the price. The material seems thick (not sure if they are truly 1000 thread count but a high thread count at least) and is definitely sateen. The seams and edging are nicely done. The navy blue and dark gray seem true to the color on the screen. Size (standard) seems generous but not too big. Definitely a good buy!

A bit to thin for my taste

Nothing Incredible About Them, but They're Nice
As always, be weary of high TC sheets online. That said, these seem to be good quality and ready for night cruising. At a glance, they appear to be able to withstand many washings, but be very realistic about this. They’re not super thick and if you’re someone who’s obsessive about laundering your sheets as often as possible, you would want to invest as much in them as possible, as well as have several sets for rotation. What I’ve learned about reviews online is that a thousand different people will say a thousand different things about the same product. I feel like they’re thick enough, but you may feel they’re paper thin as opposed to what you’re used to. Unless you were handling them in person, you wouldn’t know until you actually laid hands on them. As I said, these seem like they could handle the test of time, but at this price point, they’re honestly no better than sheets half the price you’d find in a big box store. They’re soft to me, but apparently this is very subjective as well, so you wouldn’t know how they feel to you unless you bought them and gave them a whirl. I have the chocolate color and it’s a deep rich brown that gives you the look of luxury, though that’s likely to fade with multiple washes. I’m not really concerned about them wrinkling as I’ve never really cared about this quality in a sheet. Typically, if you take them right out of the dryer, go ahead and either fold them or dress your bed, they likely won’t wrinkle anyhow. Like with anything else that has to be washed in a washing machine, the true test is how well it stands up. I’ll update my review if these begin to unravel prematurely. For now, I consider them a 5 star product.

1000 thread count for the win!
This is my first foray into 1000 thread count pillowcases and into 100% Egyptian cotton for that matter. So I have no way to compare them to other products of this type. That being said these cases are very soft and appear to be well constructed. They are of generous size and easily fit my king pillows, even an extremely puffy one.A quick pass through the washer caused no harm and made them even softer. I found no loose threads or other stitching defects and all of the edges were finished nicely. They did shrink a small amount but not enough to impair their fit. I liked that I could buy the cases separately because my bed is queen size but I use king size pillows. It's an odd mix and match so buying separates works best. The fabric seems thinner than my usual cotton/poly blend cases but I imagine that is to be expected at this high of a thread count. I have no way to verify if these are really 1000 TC but examination with a magnifying glass shows the threads to be much finer than my regular sheets and pillowcases. Time will tell how well these stand up to daily use but for now I am happy with my selection.

Not Egyptian Cotton, Thin sheets
I saw the title describing Egyptian Cotton Sheets. However, you can see on the package itself (if you magnify it) that the sheets are not Egyptian Cotton but rather Extra long staple cotton, a different type of cotton. Then the compound the problem, there is a label sewn on the sheets saying Egyptian cotton. But which is real? Is it a bait and switch? On opening the package these are super thin sheets. $88? I don't think so.

Nice, but not luxurious
I sleep cold. My wife sleeps hot. This means we've done a lot of experiments over the years with different kinds of bedding to find something that works for both of us. One of the things we've learned is that as much as we want to find some magical keywords (Egyptian cotton, xyz thread count), the biggest indicator of whether a sheet is high quality is the price. And these pillow cases are not an exception. These are mid-range pillow cases at best, with a decent but slightly scratchy finish. I know that Egyptian cotton softens over multiple washes, but we washed these twice before putting them on our pillows, and they still felt just a bit harsh. The good news is that they did breathe well, so my wife's ultra-cool pillows and my fluffy down pillows both did their jobs through the covering. The quality is also good, with nice clean stitches and no dropped or missed stitches or loose threads. Overall, I'd say these are worth the list price because it's a mid-tier price for mid-tier sheets. Just don't get them expecting luxury. 3.5 stars, which rounds to 4.

A great pillowcase, quality fabric
These are really nice sateen-weave pillowcases, richly dyed and saturated colors on a nice midweight fabric. No tissue paper thin or skimpy-sized cases here, these are great quality all the way. I can't say that the 1000 thread count claim is true, and didn't try to count them, but it is a very nice satiny fabric with a great "hand".They wash beautifully and don't wrinkle too bad if you get them out of the dryer promptly - and wash them separately first as these richly saturated colors are almost sure to bleed a bit at first. WE wash on cold and dry low, so shrinkage was not an issue for us; your results may vary.King size pillowcases are surprisingly large, as it turns out. I wanted Queen size because Standard cases are just too short for my Queen pillows, but these are very long at 40". Luckily, it's easy for us to simply shorten them to around 33-35" in length by sewing a new bottom seam and cutting off the extra, since Queen cases were not available.
