Hook and Loop Backing Pad and Sanding Disc Set

Bought this to sand and smooth some rough cast iron cookware. It worked great. Nice and smooth now.

So far it's been working fine, grinding steel is tough on the pads but it's holding up. we'll see for how long

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The price is great and product lives up to its expectation. That's the second set I've purchased because it's so convenient.

The surfaces you are working on must be thoroughly checked for broken nails etc.. they can cause problem however this item exceeded my expectations

The sandpaper disks are rather delicate. Care is required to avoid damage to the backing plate. It fits good and works well. The angle grinders are often made with a constant high velocity setting.

This is a replacement for the same product that I've been using for cleaning and shaping wayfaring staffs ... long hiking staffs shaped from fallen red cedar trees.

P.o.s. there's no adapter to put it in the drill or in the angle grinder. It says its 5/8 but, thats the threaded part. What it doesn't tell you is that its almost half inch deep to get to the 5/8 so it doesn't fit angle grinders unless you buy a separate adapter. If you want to use it for drill, there's no drill adapter, also needs to be bought separate. Junk, didnt bother sending back, just threw it in trash and bought different brand

excellent quality,well priced. very useful to a DIYer.

It's not like using a sander machine but it is helping as an alternative.

I bought this package twice because through ignorance I damaged the first purchased attachment. I am convinced that the (now experienced) use of this tool will greatly improve my production time on numerous projects I plan to complete throughout the year. Get the whole package with the sandpaper discs and you won't be shopping vainly for the same products on the shelves of box stores, and the price, and variety of grits is right.
