I bought this to hold small items on my bathroom counter. Works great .

Advertised as a wood bowl and the material listed is also wood. They are Made of plastic and are very small. Waste of time. Some one should pay me for the time I spent ordering this and waiting 4 days to receive 8$ plastic bowls. I order 6 btw.

Misleading advertising. This is a plastic bowl, with wood looking appearance. I suppose we should have known when they claimed dishwasher safe. Um.... We buy wooden bowls specifically to get away from plastics and ceramics. Geesh, thankfully we only bought two of them. We would like a bowl this exact size, slightly larger than your typical miso wood bowl, but would like it made out of wood please. Shape was right. Size was right. Material was plastic. They tricked us into buying something made of plastic, and the other reviews were not in at the time. If one does not mind a plastic bowl, this is probably just fine. Seems like that super polymer type of plastic that never ever degrades. A 'forever' bowl, which even after it breaks, will always exist somewhere in our environment as a polymer and a plastic.
