Great tarp, saved our camping weekend!
What we liked: lightweight (backpacker friendly), slightly stretchy tarp (like a tent rain fly), quality reflective tie downs with quick tensioners included, lots of lashing points (thank you!), and most importantly, waterproof protection. We had several inches of rain over a couple days of hiking and camping. This tarp kept our community area (and firewood) dry... when many others in the area were waterlogged. We could hike in rain gear and come back to a a dry camp without having to hide out in our tents to stay dry! We received lots of complements on our set-up and planning for the trip from passersby, and most importantly all members of our camping crew (4 people) were happy. Shown in the photo set up with a 2.2mm arborist throw line as a ridge line with additional lashing from the included guy lines.

Worked great
Update #2: More than 2 years later this tarp still works great. I hammock now and love the privacy I get with the 10x12 size as well as the protection from the elements. It’s gone on the AT with me as well as a bunch of state park trips.I guess it’s normal for the material the tarp is made from to absorb water. On the AT we had torrential rain for 2 nights. No leaks and protected me well. The tarp held up superb but it gained at least twice it’s weight from the rain. That extra weight was noticeable as I carried it. Other than that, the tarp is great. One thing that bugs me is the tarp in the picture shows a bunch more loops to tie down the tarp. I have 1 loop in the middle of each side plus the ends. It would be nice to have what is pictured.Update: 1.5 years later, this tarp is still working great!Original review: This worked great for me. Put it over my tent and had a little porch when it rained. Wasn’t forced to close my tent vestibule doors when it was so hot. I also had peace of mind that if sticks fell they wouldn’t hit me and my tent.

Excellent value Silnylon tarp!
We were very excited to receive this tarp, which we're hoping to pair with our Paria breeze mesh tent. The silnylon facilitates a larger tarp size, with no real added weight above our existing tarp. Poor timing on our part means that we haven't yet had the chance to try this out in the wild, but in our back garden it sets up well, offering ample coverage from rain in an A-frame configuration. The tarp seems well made, and were very pleased with this purchase! Only issue so far has been getting a tight enough ridge line when using hiking poles at either end (any tips on that would be welcome), though that may be to be expected for a flat cut tarp of this size. If a couple more guyout points could be added on the flat panel, e.g. to pull out the sides for even more interior space, that would be great, but no reason to ding an otherwise terrific tarp!

Great product, needs some directions/literature for proper use.
I love this thing!I use it often, as it is light, very packable, and reliable. Great value. I will say that the rigging system for the stakes is a little odd, I don't quite understand how to use the plastic line holder things attached to the dyneema line, or they just don't work well. Either way, directions for setup included in the packaging would earn this a 5 star review all day!!

Great tarp.
I ordered this and it ripped due to a stitching error in the corner. The company sent a free replacement. Initially bought to use over a hammock, it was a little hot underneath so I switched to a more light proof tarp for the hammock. I have used Sanctuary SilTarp as a canopy off the back of the house for months leaving it up 24x7. It has withstood heavy rains, really heavy. Very strong, very light weight. I'm ordering another one.

Light and easy to set up with lots of options for tying lines
I got this for backpacking with my scouts. It often rains when we go camping, and the kids don't want to just sit in their own tents when it gets bad outside. You never know what the tree options will be for setup, but the many loops on this tarp make it easy to fix the lines as needed. It's quite large too - we set it up over a picnic table so we could use camp stoves on the table and sit together to eat. The tarp is easy to pack into a small size. Very pleased!

Excellent Tarp
This is a great tarp. It's exactly as advertised: light, great size, strong tie down points, the extra accessory kit is great. The only negative I have is that the pegs are a bit on the flimsy side, but then lightweight is the aim so that's a pretty small negative - I just wouldn't want to hit too large a rock with them when setting up.The tarp was shipped to me in New Zealand with no issues and perfectly on time, the seller sent me an email so I had a point of contact with any issues (which there weren't).I'm stoked.

This Makes For A Lot of Dry!
OK, My son's Scout Troop hammock camps. While it has taken me roughly 37 nights of hanging and one year of thinking to dial my gear in, this made have just become my favorite bit of kit (after my underquilt cus that thing is crazy awesome!). Really. I used a Hennessy Hex Tarp all year. It worked well, but It was the 70d version and it was heavey. I was looking for something lighter, but didn't want to spend $150 on it. I ordered a different tarp that was 20d. It was light but it was too small for my new Dutchware Half Zipped. I thought, "Why am I giving up the extra dry space for a hex tarp?" I was not saving much weight. That is when I settled on the 12'x10' flat sheet tarp from Paria.I used it this past weekend in the Pacific Northwest. It was 40f, raining and windy. The wind was ripping at 35 mph with gusts to 55 mph. I did NOT have this tarp in that wind. Nothing short of a building will survive wind like that. Our camp site was very protected from the wind. The rain was another story. Wet had a lot of rain.Under this tarp I had tons of room. I was able to hang it high enough to stand up at the ridge. I pulled the corners down low and stuck my walking sticks up in the middle of the sides to give it more flair and make a larger dry foot print. None of my gear was wet. I kept a ground cloth out that I could walk around on in my socks.I live where it rains a lot. I will pack this tarp every trip. The only bad thing I can say is the tie out lines suck. They are cheap and stiff. I replaced them with dyneema refletex. It is much smoother and more supple. The other cords will look great woven in to some cool paracord project.

Lightweight tarp
So far so good. Used once in a wild camp. Tarp seems well made and guy ropes are perfect with little cleats to adjust tension. Looking forward to using it in rain with the mesh tent. Very light and packs small

Excellent medium sized camping tarp
Based on just one nights use so far, but it was in torrential rain.Tarp worked excellently, lightweight, easy to erect and totally waterproof.Perfect for sleeping under, and big enough to provide a dry admin area during the day.
