This bird spikes adds small spikes. I think the design is very perfect. I put it on my fence, many small animals can't stand on it and soon they are gone. Effect is very strong. I will continue to buy a few more sets and put them on my roof separately.

Q: will this repel a dog from entering property?

I doubt it as the dog would probably just step over it. Works great keeping the birds from landing on my swing top.

Q: Does this work on a window sill?

"I am sure it will work providing you secure it with an adhesive, I.e., glue. You must ensure that the spikes cover the entire sill. I had a problem with birds building a nest in the four inch space not covered. So I had to cut one of the spikes in half. Hope this helps."

Q: Think these will stop a squirrel from climbing up a wall to get to my wall mounted bird feeder?

Probably not. We put these on the railing of our deck to keep raccoons away from hummingbird feeder. Looked out and the raccoon was standing on the spikes to get to the feeder!
