Q: Can I cut painting stencils with this?

If you mean cut stencils for painting the answer is yes, but only if you plan to cut cardboard o paper, not vinyl, listen carefully again, Not Vinyl!! Cutting vinyl with a laser can result in fire and very harmful gases that you don't want to be close to and inhale, so don't do it, if you plan on making vinyl stencils go better with a vinyl cutter equipped with a razor blade. But if your idea is on using paper, cardboard and any other material, go for it, just make sure to have plenty ventilation or any type of fume extraction tent.

Q: When is Sainsmart coming out with a 10w output laser?

It is already out, just go their official website and with the regular machine you have the option to select a 10W laser module, just keep in mind is not a real 10W module, in reality is more like an 8W, the 10W is just plain and simple misleading marketing.

Q: I cant get lc 40 to hook up.to pc i cant get software to flash please help?

Flashing this machine with a PC or a Mac is almost impossible, just use your phone and it will be very easy, go to the user manual or their website and use your phone to scan the correspondent barcode for your particular phone model and watch their instructions on how to flash the machine, it is very easy and fast, with the computer, just forget it, and trying to connect to a Mac, Impossible! Just use a PC after flash, you will save a ton of headaches, I hope this helps.

Hi, You can find a marker in the package and just use the marker to paint the material black before engraving.
