These were great for holding holiday rope lights along a walkway. The stakes were easy to install and the ring loops were welded properly. These are pretty heavy duty, and the paint or finish on them is good.

I think these are a little overkill for most uses but they should be great when you need them. I will use them over anything else except maybe in sandy soil. Not sure how these would work in sand. I have not tried to hammer these into or through rocks but I think they could be. I bought these after watching a video from CheapRVliving.

Exactly what I was looking for to keep dogs out of my yard and the owner away from my grass Perfect point to drive into dirt. Thick enough to stand up and holds well in the ground. Well made painted all over black , not bending , works well

Purchased these to layout a string line for a privacy fence I was building for my parents. They worked perfectly for that application, and I’m sure I’ll use them for many other reasons in the future. The steel is heavy. The material is strong and heavy duty and I have no reason to believe that they won’t last for many years. The length is perfect for driving deep enough into the ground to ensure a solid foundation for tying down tarps and tents and whatever else you may need to hold down.

This is my second or third set of these. They are way better than the stakes that come with canopies and tents. I have used them for lots of things. If you are worried about hurricanes or something extreme, these would not be my choice. They have proven to be great for normal use. They can take a good hammering when you have hard ground. I tend to pound them in with a little angle. That can help with concerns about the line you are securing pulling them straight out. The welded on loop not only makes connecting your canopy or what ever easy, it also give you a good point to pull it out of the ground. So far, I have never had issues getting them out. I got this set to be a dedicated set to carry in the RV. I have others that live with things that move around and need staked down. I don't know if I will need any more, but would not hesitate to buy again if I do.
