Easy to install - excellent product
perfect replacement for truck canopy hatch - just a few minutes to install

Easy to install and so far working great!
I was surprised to learn how easy it was to remove/replace these things. Just need a screwdriver to slide the retaining cap out of the way, then pop off the old and pop on the new. These are rated at 55 lbs and my old ones were rated at 45 lbs. So, the new ones might open up a little faster than the old, but I haven't had any real issue with the difference in force. Overall, I'm very happy with these for my Leer camper top.

What can I say - Easy Replacement
Simple to install - just firmly press the end connectors of the ball fitting on the camper and they snap in place. Perfect fit for my Snug Top camper shell. Easy to remove the old piston by simply prying the spring clip off each end. IMPORTANT though to measure your old lift piston's distance from the center of the ball connectors end to end - in the closed position and in the extended position. Took less than 10 minutes to exchange them.
