My ipad case has a pencil holder built in. will my apple pencil still fit with this on it?

Tight squeeze depending on slot. I have an elastic stick on pen holder because it didnt fit on. Also a bugger to get the cute case on the pencil.

Is this case compatible with Apple Pencil dupes ?

It might! Not all dupes are the same but since it’s silicone I think it could fit

How do you get it to slide on?

pencil cap is separate. just slide open top of pencil body over the apple pencil tip
