Fun With Leaves Stencils (Dover Little Activity Books: Nature) Paperback – September 11, 1991

My 4 year old LOVES to doodle & draw. About 7 months ago, she was introduced to stencils & she can NOT get enough! We absolutely LOVE these Dover Little Activity books & have purchased them at museums every time we visit but, as with all addictions, we wanted MORE! Thank you Amazon-- hubby & I purchased every one you had available & stuffed our daughter's Christmas stocking (and put away the ones for upcoming holidays. She's in heaven & we're thrilled with the hours of creativity that are sure to ensue.

This is a small little stencil book with about 8 leaf shapes. It can be useful to make leaf shapes in varying colors of construction paper to decorate a classroom for example. I have used the shapes to create different designs to do organized doodling, creating new works of art. By overlapping different stencils, creating a variety of negative spaces and changing perspective. As an artist you don't have to do everything free hand. I have a collection of these little stencil books and for the price I can't complain.

These stencil books are probably hands down THE best bargain on Amazon. I bought 9 of them for painting onesies at a baby shower. So much more cost effective than other stencils I considered. Stencils are done on thick stock paper and there wasn't one design that was at all disappointing. Would buy time and time again.

These are perfect for my kids (5 and 6 1/2). They come in a small booklet, one stencil to each page and each stencil is easily torn out of the book by a perforation.Great, easy to trace stencils, sturdy and laminated pages so using markers and crayons will not destroy them.

There are six leaf stencils here, cut into heavy laminated paper. The stencils are: holly (5 inches long), white oak (5 inches), sweet gum (4 inches), yellow poplar (3-1/2 inches), maple (4 inches) and aspen (5 inches). The white oak, maple and holly are pictures on the cover (left to right). Depending on your project, you might want to shrink these basic designs a bit, but you can't beat this price for getting some good basic stencils.

This is a nice assortment of 3-4" Christmas snowflakes. We used them to make T-shirts, and used each a couple of times. They held up to a seven year old blobbing on paint, and two adults also using them. I wiped off the paint each time one was used, and it was good to go for another round. I was able to keep the entire set for future use, so I'm very pleased for an item that cost just over a buck.
