Balcony Pets Apartment v3 Pet Door, Clear, Adjustable

Very happy with my purchase! Looked around at a lot of dog doors and was really leery about installing something permanent. This was easy to install all by myself and our dog learned how to go in and out very quickly. I am really impressed with its sturdiness. It fits snugly in the top, side and bottom track of the sliding door frame, and closing our sliding door holds it in place very well. Even though our dog is on the tall side, it has not moved out of position. And we can still use our patio door. Flies in the house are a thing of the past!

I would say "you get what you pay for" but in this case, unfortunately, even that isn't true. This item is complete garbage - from materials, to construction, to design. I kid you not, you could do so much better going to Home Depot on your own and buying the materials to design and build your own custom door. It doesn't create any type of real seal, its flimsy, and the parts are cheap/not designed well/not glued or built to last and most certainly, definitely and absolutley nowhere near worth even $50.00 (let alone the asking price). Some items shouldn't be sold by Amazon - this is one of them.

They need to remove the pics showing a carrying case...mine did not come with one, which slightly ticked me off, as I was hoping to store the door during the winter months, and protecting it from scratches or breaking accidently. I love the door, and it fits nicely, but won't be thermal & will need to come out when it gets colder.

This pet door is a clever idea, but it has some drawbacks. First, it doesn't seal very well on the left and right sides. The latch on my sliding door gets in the way of the pet door so that it won't sit flush against the door entry. I have to bend the pet door so it bulges out to avoid the latch, and that keeps it from forming a good seal. Also, my sliding door is rather low friction and it won't hold in place against the side of the pet door since the grommet material pushes the door away when it's compressed. The door doesn't have enough friction to stay flush against the grommet. As a result, there is a visible gap on both sides of the pet door (latch on one side, grommet on other side) and cold or hot air can get through. Still, it's better than leaving the sliding door open.I have two rabbits and it took a while for them to get enough fortitude to push through the flap (rabbits are much less forceful that some other pets). One rabbit has no trouble going through the flap, but the other seems to think it only works in one direction and will go out, but not in, through the flap. This pet door obviously wouldn't be a problem for a bigger or less timid animal.

We love this pet door insert! We used to leave the balcony door open so our cat could go in and out as she pleased but it allowed bugs (one nasty wasp) in and our AC was running constantly (its been a hot summer in AR). Also, we live in an apartment complex and have been searching for something that wouldn't leave a permanent mark on the place and could go with us if we move.This Pet door has been wonderful, very easy to install and adjust for the door height. Now we can leave the sliding door shut and our cat has figured out the pet door making us all happy!!!

This item indeed very easy to install, but it’s so cheaply made that it won’t keep out the cold nor burglars. The fact that it’s plastic and not tempered glass makes it useless unless you have no concerns about the cold or insects invading your space.

this is the only adjuster doggy door that is right fix/fit . but the way its made dont like when you holding it in place with sliding door. and less then 2days later found had them oner $20 dollars cheaper. not fair . and with no bag as saw in pctures they have on this site..

I love the door it fit just like it said and was easy to install wish I would of found this when I first moved inbut not I have it and I am very happy with it.
