Gift Fountain Pen with Handcrafted Natural Bamboo Case, Germany Nib, Black Ink Write

I've always loved using a fountain pen. This comes in a super attractive box which would make it a great gift for the writer you know; or yourself. Has converter so you can use bottle ink if you prefer, but cartridges are available. Comfortable to use in the hand.

This is very nice and attractive for the price! No, not as good as a , Mont Blanc or other really expensive pen, but this is very attractive and works well. Recommended, esp for a gift. Don’t forget to order a bottle of ink; I personally prefer the stodgy brown ink.

The first thing that I saw with this when I got it was that the box was scuffed or scratched on the top. Not the best thing, as I was planning on giving it as a gift. Also, it doesn't come with any ink, so if you are planning on getting this as your first fountain pen, know that you'll have to get your own jar of ink first. The fountain pen disperses the ink like a regular pen, and there's nothing fancy about this one. I'd say there's nothing telling me to tell you that you need this pen, so hunt around before deciding on this one.

Love my quality German fountain pen and its case. Lived in Europe for 16 years and prefer the quality pens available in Germany, Netherlands, and France. Had Mont Blanc pen pencil set hdid not last and were more expensive and of less quality than this fountain pen.

Started out great but quit working w/i a month. Very disappointed.

The pen is very pretty, it also comes in a very nice wooden box. I purchased this for the guest book sign in for an upcoming wedding. I thought it would look very nice and I didn't want to have just plain plastic pens. I did not see in the description when I ordered this pen though, it does not come with ink. I did see that now that I went back and read everything so that was my mistake. So although it is very nice looking I don't know how it writes yet, as I am going to have to buy ink. The instructions to load the ink seem fairly simple although it might be a bit messy. I will update once I get ink and try it, so for now 4 stars because it really is a beautiful pen.
