Great but could use longer shoulder straps.
First off I love Oakiwear, I find all of their products to be well made and durable! I do like these waders and my toddler will use them this summer when we're off grid in Alaska, hopefully he won't grow too much in the mean time because the sizing from 2T to 3T is a jump. Please note that these have a VERY strong odor from the neoprene, so be prepared to air them out for a while prior to use.I only gave 4 out of 5 stars because they needed to put extra strap length (shoulders) as my kid is in the 50 percentile for height and weight and these are too short it seems, but the shoe sizing is correct. I hope they can remedy this or just provide an extra 2 buckles to extend.Addendum: They are problem solvers!!! They're sending me extra straps to see if I can extend the waders. Super cool of you all! And they worked!!!! Upped it to 5 stars, for a superior product and company! Thank you Oakiwear.

Bizarre sizing
Very well made, no corners cut on quality materials or the reinforced seams, heavy duty boots with nice deep treads -BUT- what on earth is up with the sizing on these? I followed the size chart for my 4 year olds and liked what I saw in review pictures of fit on older kids. Unfortunately, unless your younger child’s legs are twice as long as their wide and short torso you’re probably going to be disappointed. The straps are short which makes them fit more like virtually unsnappable waist waders for beer bellied men - unless you pull the inseam up well into the groin.We tried three different sizes and will be keeping the largest two but they’re going to need a fair amount of modifying to be comfortable and functional. I hope Oakiwear looks into this because while they’re definitely on the right track there’s also room for improvement here.Pictured is same child in the 3T and 4/5

Fun/cute waders but got defected ones?
First of all, who wouldn't love these cute waders for toddlers?? We got lots of comments on these and I so wished they worked how they were supposed to. We one day express shipped these waders because we had a last minute fishing trip so thats almost $260 spent. After we tried them on I was looking up reviews and pictures of other families that have this item but I couldn't find anyone who had issues with theirs. I bought two camo waders for my 2 boys, ages 3.5 and 2 years old. The straps on the waders were extremely short and the waders only came up to their stomachs, near their abdomen. So basically we just had to tie the straps around their waist which helped but I had to pull their waders up every hour or so. I wrote an email to Oakiwear along with a picture and I'm hoping we received just a defected item. If we are able to exchange them I will absolutely keep buying these products and refer them to friends. We live in a "rural" area so these are much needed for our kids who go fishing/camping. The kids had so much fun going in the water and all the other kids were either soaking wet or only allowed up to the shore.

Absolutely Worth It. Read for Toddler Sizing Experience.
These are unbelievable and not just for the price. The water is cold in Maine on a hot summer day; spring and fall are no-go’s. These allow my kiddo to wear super warm clothes underneath and still enjoy the water for so much longer each season. My kiddo is tall and thin. He’s 3T for length but easily 2T for his thin frame. He wears a 9T shoe. I still bought the 4/5T waders. We tightened the straps most of the way up and they fit great with plenty of grow room. They looked HUGE coming out of the box, but I’m so glad we tried them on and adjusted them. FYI, you won’t need the camp chest strap until they get older and loosen the straps up. My kiddo isn’t inhibited in movement at all with these, even with just thin socks underneath. These have made exploring the shorelines so much fun in 3 out of 4 seasons!

Great to wear every day
My kids wear these every day in the spring, they keep their clothes from getting dirty and they keep them warm and dry in cold wet weather. These are reasonably durable, I bought my 5 year old the smallest pair they sell when she had just turned 2, she wore them for 3 years (the legs were way too short by the time her 5th birthday was coming up but they kept her pants dry in the mud) then she got a new pair for her birthday, now my 2 year old is wearing her old pair as hand-me-down's, they look a little rough but they are still waterproof.Update: after 4 years of hard use the 2t size waders are no longer waterproof if my 3 year old spends a long time in the river. For general mud splashing and puddle jumping though she stays dry.

Oakiwear is awesome!!!!!!!
First of all I want to say thanks you to Oakiwear!!! As a dad headed duck hunting we some time forget some things. I was a little late in ordering them. Got an email stating they were out of the waders from Oakiwear themselves. I was disappointed but understood, my fault for waiting!!! I sent an email back to cancel my order. To my surprise the next day I get a personal phone call from Oakiwear stating they got 1 pair of waders in. Soooooo happy!!! But even better they up graded shipping (already had paid $66 for 2 day shipping) to over night for free. Can't ask for better service and my son is pumped to go duck hunting!!! First time with Oakiwear and I am blown away!!! Thanks again to Oakiwear and Geena!!!!

The tan waders are NOT NEOPRENE!
I am so disappointed in this purchase - my first bad experience in all my years of Amazon shopping! Did I miss something?? These waders are described as being NEOPRENE. The camo colors of the same exact style sell for 115 dollars. The ones that are tan in color go for less than that, but we all know that the price is dependent on the color's popularity in Amazon, so that was no indication to me that the tan version of these "neoprene, waterproof" waders were going to be made of a simple, uninsulated RAINCOAT fabric - and we bought them as a birthday gift for our grandchild way up in Fairbanks, AK!They will definitely be going back if I can't find someone down here in the "Lower 48" who want a pair of thin, uninsulated, size 6/7 waders.
