media is not as course as what I had
Wish I had read the reviews. I finally got around to changing gravel and Birm in my tank filter yesterday. I noticed it was much finer than the media I removed and dark gray. gray water came out for a bit before clearing but the thing I do not like is my water pressure is now down to a third of what I had before I changed it. Now I'm going to have to get a different media. This stuff ain't cheap either but do some research before you buy.....

Not very effective
If you are desperate and you want something cheap then get this product. As for my case, I will now have to remove it and buy a higher quality media as it is not effective in removing high concentrations of iron from well water. Unsatisfied with the product.

Poor Quality
The material supplied was defective and has damaged the entire house piping leaving gray residue. Upon contacting the seller, I got no response. Buyer beware!
