Is it self-adhesive? I want to wrap it around posts with very little surface area (t-posts)

It does have an adhesive backing that you expose by pulling away a plastic layer (think the same way you expose the sticky parts of a band-aid). Wrapping a T-post should be doable but may prove tricky because of the irregular (not smooth) shape which offers less surface area for the tape to stick to. Might still be worth a shot...but make sure your T-post is new or nicely cleaned before applying it. if you have a rusty surface or the paint is peeling then the tape may not stick particularly well.
