Not just inexpensive, they are cheaply made
Until now, I don't think I've ever given a 1 star review. Please see the attached photos to verify my comments. The cutting edges are not ground sharp. They could not cleanly cut a brass wire of .025" diameter. Further more, the cutting edges only meet in the middle. There are very visible gaps at either extremity of the cutting edges. In my opinion, they are not just inexpensive, they are cheaply made. I am sorry that I purchased them.

QC is lacking!
The edges are not straight so if I wanted to cut something it might not work, I only got them to pinch a zipper repair project together which worked out ok. Other than a crappy cutting edge they seem to be built ok.
