Western Rise Versa Men's Baseball Hat, Packable, Waterproof and Stretchy Designed for Maximum Versatility

This Versa hat is my introduction to the WESTERN RISE brand and I'm really happy with it!I know that this hat is marketed for men but I was drawn to its minimalist design and decided to give it a try. For reference, I am a woman with a small head (size 6 3/4 in hats) and always have trouble fitting caps, even adjustable ones because they're too tall for me. This Versa hat fits me really well! I think that the stretchy material makes it shallow enough for my small head and the adjustable clip makes it easy to get the perfect fit. It's really comfortable to wear.I really like the look of this cap. I chose the "Black" color. I love the neutral monochrome styling. I really appreciate that this hat does not have any overt branding - it has a small and tasteful rubber logo on the back.Aside from this hat's looks, it is very functional. I have a very fair complexion and live in the high desert, so sun protection is a must for me. This hat does a good job of shielding me from the sun and its packable material makes it very easy to stash in my purse.

This is the kind of hat you wear at a casual outing with the board of directors. It's very nicely made and has a classy but casual look to it.

The edges of the hat kind of fold over into the bill. It would be nicer if it was a cleaner fold to be honest. I lie the weight and the sizing though. For $70 I think it should have really clean lines and the folds make it look a bit frumpy.

I needed a new hat for my morning runs and this perfectly suits the job. I was previously using a normal canvas snapback, but I started breaking out around the top of my forehead from the sweat build up. Not to mention the smell… But this hat solved that problem right away. It’s incredibly light, comfy, and made of the same material as the rest of my workout gear. Its already become my go-to hat for workouts and hikes and being waterproof it will for sure come in handy during the rainy seasons. My only complaint is that it arrived slightly creased on the front, but I'm assuming that will go away naturally with enough wears.

This review is for WESTERN RISE Versa Men's Hat. Packable, Waterproof and Stretchy Designed for Maximum Versatility. It's a nice hat. Very well made. Expensive though and perhaps a little hard to justify the cost. I was surprised by how light it felt to the touch. It had very little weight to it. It's very breathable and stretchable due to the 8% spandex content. I own several Coolibar UPF 50 hats (100% polyester) so I am familiar with their purpose. I wear them to protect my face from the sun while working in the garden and doing other backyard chores. The Western Rise hat feel a little more "refined" and more stylish for walking in the city or around the neighborhood than as a hiking or work hat. I wore mine walking my dog around my block and got rained on and it repelled water quite well. I thought it dissipated heat very well also and was just very comfortable the whole time I was wearing it. With my other hats, I tend to want to take them off once in a while to release the heat but I didn't feel the need to do that with this hat. It's very easy to adjust and shape. I was able to slowly give the brim a slight arch after a few minutes but it does naturally want to return to a flatter look. Overall, I thought it was a nice comfortable hat and I will wear it when I need some sun protection while going around town. However, for heavier duty sun protection, I will most likely use my Coolibar hats because they seem to provide way more sun protection all around (longer brim and side protection) even if they're not as stain / water resistant. I would recommend this hat as more of a casual sun protection hat than anything more serious. It's comfortable and stylish but I think serious hikers need more serious sun protection all around. It's easy to pack and still better than having no protection. I'd give this 4.3/5.0 - 08/12/2022.

Quality hat. This cap is soft enough to folds down to nothing. Great for just stuffing it in my backpack which is what I do. So whenever I need a hat to shield the sun, I have it available to me. The quality of the material is nice to the had. Soft but when put on, it looks sharp. The hat size is adjustable. Branding is minimal. Overall not a cheap item but worth the price IMHO.

I recently purchased the WESTERN RISE Versa Men's Hat and was extremely disappointed with my purchase. While the hat is advertised as being packable, waterproof, and stretchy, it has failed to live up to these claims.The stretchy material is not very stretchy, as it feels tight and uncomfortable on my head.I also found the sizing of the hat to be inaccurate. I ordered a size that was supposed to fit my head size, but it was too small and caused a lot of discomfort. Overall, I would not recommend the WESTERN RISE Versa Men's Hat to anyone and would advise looking for a different product.

I like this hat because it’s very lightweight and stretchy. The stretch allows you to adjust it so it’s tight, but not too tight where it hurts your forehead.I have some other hats that are 100% cotton and they hold in the heat. I like that this hat is breathable.I appreciate the UPF sun protection and the fact that it’s waterproof. I also like the wide brim for sun protection.
