Greartisan DC 12V 200RPM Gear Motor High Torque Electric Micro Speed Reduction Geared Motor Eccentric Output Shaft 37mm Diameter Gearbox

For years we've used a small gear motor, originally made by Globe and later Barber-Coleman, now Merkel-Korff. When they raised their; minimum buy to 150 pieces we went searching for a replacement and this Greartisan motor works great at a lot less in cost to us as well as no minimum buy. We tested this motor in our engineering printer for hours at a time and it performed flawlessly. Very happy to have found it. Now after several years of shipping this motor as a replacement for worn out Merkel-Korff motors we are seeing similar longevity to the M-K motors. They are standing the test of time.

I now have both a 5rpm and a 200rpm motor from them. They work great and will likely order more in the future due to their quality. Would recommend!

I built a filament respooler that called for a 100RPM motor. (not pastamatic, the original one) I bought the recommended motor but it was loud and to be honest, a bit slow for my tastes. I found this motor which is faster and quite a bit quieter. (by no means quieter, just a lot quieter than the other motor I used) I am guessing the noise is from the gear box. I can use full speed on my motor controller but it is a bit too fast. I can slow it way down and it still works. At a certain point, slow is just off. (pretty close to the off position) I recommend this over the motor listed on printables because it is quieter, faster and much less expensive.

Very reliable heavy duty motor. It will get the job done. Only problem is that it’s not quiet. It’s fairly loud. Maybe I got a slightly louder one. I will be ordering a few more to see if anything changes but if it does not I will have to be looking for a more quiet motor

This motor works fine. However, you can accidentally tighten the face mounts to far in and interfere with the rotor.

I have my gear motor hooked to a speed controller. When running at the slowest speed, you can stop it with your fingers, but once you've turned up the power just a little bit, there is plenty of power to this little gearmotor for most small projects. Being priced like they are, I'll be buying more at different gear ratios for experimenting with different projects. At only $12 each, I can afford a little trial and error to find just the right speed to power ratios.

Installed the engine a few minutes ago. Everything working in perrect conditions. Not so noisly. I will buy more. 100%

Used these to make my own 360° video booth, and I while the drive method (RC 1/10 tyres) is unorthodox, the three motors in concert were super reliable and quiet. The screw alignment with the L motor mounts was not optimal, it would be nice if mounts from the manufacturer were optionally available. Uploaded a video of the semi-final project to give an idea - 200rpm at the spindle with a 1/10 tyre on an 80-cm ring gives me around 16rpm at the edge - perfect for the videos...
