Easy to set up, sturdy materials, high end features in an affordable package
I purchased this hammock bundled with the 12' Onewind Tarp with doors to use explicitly on my YOBO gear hammock stand. I'm impressed with the hammock (haven't hung the tarp yet) and want to leave a good review.f 1. Onewind used Dyneema Continuous Loops at the ends of the hammock instead of 1 inch webbing or kernmantle rope. BIG PLUS. 2. The hammock straps are good quality and are easy to thread through the cinch buckle on the hammock's continuous loops. 3. There are hooks to control your underquilt - keeping it in place and adjusting where it lays while you are in the hammock - I've only ever seen this feature on premium hammocks like Dutchware or Hammock Gear hammocks. 4. Tie outs to facilitate an angled, flat lay - again, something I've only seen on the premium hammocks 5. Materials - the hammock body is constructed of a soft feeling ripstop. It is very comfortable. The bug net is well made and you can unzip it almost all the way off. Very nice feature. 6. The hammock body probably has one of the best diagonal lays I've experienced in a hammock so far. It is very roomy and cut to accommodate the flat-lay position. 7. Light enough to take backpacking. Hammock and straps are only a little heavier than my ultralight set up. They pack down well. 7. The price cannot be beat for all these features. Get the bundle with the 12 foot tarp. It's worth the money. If you are new to hammock camping - THIS is the set for you.

You need this hammock. Really.
This hammock is great. The quality, and the thoughtful design is beyond my expectations. For some background, I have owned the 11 foot version of this hammock for almost two years, and have slept in it every night since I got it. Prior to that, I used at least three different brands of hammock for my primary sleeping solution. The 11 footer was a game changer for me, in that it came with a bug net, but also a solid insert that could be used in place of the bug net. That solid insert kept me WARM when it was 25 degrees and snowing. The other thing that I like about that hammock is the fact that there are zippers on both sides, but there was an issue with that: One was at my feet when I was in the hammock, while the other near my head, meaning that to reach the one by my foot, I would have to really stretch to either open it or close it. As I approach my 60th year, flexibility is not exactly increasing, so that was something I had hoped to see fixed. Enter the Onewind 12Ft Camping Hammock. Holy schneikees, this thing is awesome. I am, at least right now, about 5'9" tall, and while the 11 foot hammock fit pretty well, and did for the most part, allow a pretty flat lay, this thing is like a king size bed compared to that. I haven't tried it yet, but I am relatively sure I can sleep on my stomach in this thing. The bug net is top quality, as are the tree straps. However, the biggest improvement for me over the 11 foot hammock would be the zippers. They are now dual zippers on both sides, meaning that you can position them anywhere along the side for easy access, and simple entry/exit from either side of the hammock. Thank you, Onewind for making such an awesome product, and at a very, very reasonable price. I will recommend your products to all of my friends who are now hammock enthusiasts. You really hit this one out of the park. Nice job.

Outstanding hammock for proper camping and lounging
I'm an enthusiastic novice, so certainly take my opinion with a grain of salt. That said, the comfort, durability, ease of use, and quality of construction were immediately apparent on this Onewind hammock. I've used the regular cheap 9ft hammocks for years and thought they were great except for usually winding up with my feet perched high above my head, when my body slides towards the middle. My experience was mostly with hammock stands, not attaching to trees. So this Onewind hammock was a wildly different and much more enjoyable experience than I've previously had in a hammock. The structural ridgeline built into it, means the angle and height of the straps don't pull the ends of the hammock higher. So the lounging area inside the hammock remains mostly flat instead of crescent shaped. You could also lay on a diagonal and be even flatter, allowing for much longer lounging sessions before feeling any body fatigue. There's plenty of room inside it to add a mat for more comfort, and it's built to be used with quilts or other insulation in colder weather as well. The bug net is easy to operate and a wonderful benefit when out in the woods. Zippers are great and it's quite easy to attach to trees. I researched different options for a few weeks before settling on this one and I'm really happy I splurged and paid the premium for it. It's definitely worth the money! Don't be fooled into getting a super cheap one instead of this brand.

Onewind makes great products! I'm sold
Like the title said......I'm sold!!!!! Purchased this with a few other products from this company and i am very impressed with the value, quality, and comfort that they have to offer. I bought 3 of these as christmas gifts for my camping group and we tested them all on april 12th on a backpacking trip. The hammock setup was super fast. Setup took me less than 2 minutes and i was done. Once i got the straps into the buckles adjustment took seconds to do and my shelter was up. Overall it took me less than 5 minutes to hang my tarp and hammock. The inside ridgeline is nice and allows me to store some things in the hanging pouch they include. I did not use the provided bungee cords or stakes for extra stability. I prefer the little sway you get when laying inside of a hammock. The material is very good and no stitching fails. The mosquito netting is awesome and it is dark. So at night with a tarp over you, you really can't see out of it too well. It's definitely dark. It's lightweight and packs into my backpack well. I would definitely recommend this hammock to anyone. It is a good quality and budget friendly hammock.

Exceptional value
The tempest 11’ is an awesome value for the price. I started with a cheaper generic $30 hammock that had an elastic ridgeline and didn’t know what I was missing. The Onewind offers just the right amount of space at 11 feet long, the straps and cinch buckles are a dream, and the ridgeline is next level. Highly recommend this particular hammock for those on a budget, but actually wanting to get outdoors because it’s built well and still fairly light. Plus, the bugnet is very well done with a super smooth zipper that doesn’t easily snag or hang up.

Comparing onewind hammock to hennessy expedition
I just swapped out a 9’ hennessy hammock for this beautiful onewind 12’ hammock. The reason I returned the hennessy was because my 5’11” body could not get a comfortable lay flat position from the 9’ Hennessy hammock. The zipper in the Hennessy would snag as I zipped it so I had to be careful. I also did not like the way the Hennessy ends were stiched up which hid where the ridge line was attached making it stagnant. You could not adjust the ridge line. One more thing about the Hennessy hammock… The straps that came with it were only 3’5”. Try wrapping that around a large tree. The bug net only unzips on one side of the hammock which did not bother me until I was able to compare it to the better Onewind bug net system. The Onewind hammock is wonderful. With the Onewind hammock I can comfortably lay anyway I want and get a very flat lay. I can adjest the ridgeline easily which is a nice feature. The quality is right up there with the more expensive competitors. It is extremely comfortable, it is so easy to setup. The straps are about 15 feet and the hammock has a buckle system the makes hanging the hammock easy and very secure. It packs down to a reasonably small size. I appreciate the value, and weight. The zipper is really wonderful. The bug net completely unzips to it came be moved out of the way. The hammock has 6 attached tiedowns. And there are lots of accessories that you can buy for it. This Onewind hammock is the best purchase this year.

Stain
The hammock works great so far. It's very spacious. It seems a little larger than the 9ft hammock bags even though it's 12ft and is very lightweight for its size. The straps are very clean and seems durable. The bug net is well designed and can be opened and put in a bag on the ridgeline. It's a nice shade of olvve green. There was a stain on the hammock, however, which I'm hoping was during manufacturing and can be cleaned off but very much could be from receiving a used product since it looks like it could be dirt. I spat on my finger and rubbed on it and it's definitely dirt but I doubt it's from me since this is my first set up and it didn't touch the ground to my knowledge.

Very nice hammock. Can run keep up with the big guys for 1/3 of the price.
You know how it is. All your buddies have War Bonnet Blackbirds, and they are always talking about how you should get a War Bonnet. So, you look them up, only to find out they are $200+ starting, and you are not exactly poor, but you act poor because you are a budget guy and have others that depend on you, a mortgage, a job that sucks your life away, and so on. Heck, you are not even sure you'll get to camp at all this year because you're so busy living out the lousy second-rate life dealt to you by your societal obligations to stay alive, feed your family, and pay your dues to Uncle Sam. Still, you yearn to get away because you either a wierdo and want to become "one" with nature, or you would rather have an actual mosquito in your ear rather than your wife's nagging drone. Whatever the reason is, one thing is for certain: you long for the great outdoors. So, after browsing forums on the interwebs, you decide to look at the Circadian from hammockgear.com. They have quality gear that is more affordable and just as capable as a War Bonnet, but you are still unsure because it is $140+ for a hammock. Next, you jumped back over to Amazon and wound up here because you're a cheapskate. If you resonate with anything I have said and are trying to decide between selling your first-born for a Blackbird or a Circadian or settling on this mid-tier budget option, I recommend the OneWind hammock. It is lightweight, well made, durable, and easily has the specs and capabilities to run with the top-tier brands for about 1/3 of the cost. You can still provide for your family and camp with your buddies. So hit add to cart, checkout, and have a beer. You deserve it. 5 stars from me.

Ridge line, straps simplify set up
Quality construction and I like the integration of bug net and ridge line all in one. No side pocket, but there is a little blue loop on ridge line for hanging stuff. Ridge line and adjustable straps simplify set up. Straps adjust to exact tension desired. The adjustable ridge line is simple to adjust, but I had a little trouble figuring out how. The online video is very quick, and there’s no accompanying instructions. It’s essentially same as what is called a ‘whoopee’ sling. Quality is good, well sewn, with good quality zippers. And floor is all one piece of fabric, which is a little more comfortable.

Best hammock in the world
I've spent quite a lot of money on different hammock makes including the other company with one in it's name and I thought that was a brilliant hammock until I discovered onewind they are awesome in what they do and you can tell that they do things right because of the quality of there products if you are interested or are wanting to try it out they have a cheap hammock for you to try before you get into it and go all out I would highly recommend getting a hammock from these because a really cheap one might put you off the idea it nearly did me I just wished that I'd got to onewind sooner that way I would not have wasted my money and nearly given up on hammock camping altogether the only thing I need from them is the wind sock and a top quilt and I've everything and I'm getting them all from onewind what a company and look no further for your hammock camping equipment

OneWind Hammock
Haven’t used it yet but it’s not my first hammock, probably my 4th. I know already it’s going to be great. Comes all as one package with adjustable ridge line and hammock straps. Can’t wait to use it
