I wash by hand - would not throw in washing machine

Is there a particularly good way to remove the crease that occurs from being folded for shipping?

Wearing the kippah for some time will get rid of the crease. I've also noticed (on accident) that once wet, it becomes more malleable, but doesn't lose color.
