Good but not excellent
Svbony 2" 34mm 72deg SV136 eyepiece with 40 mm field stop: Overall happy; it's quite good, maybe even very good, though not excellent. Image shape is small and round and free of many potential nasties like chromatic aberration or astigmatism, and has no pupil spherical aberration (so no kidney bean effect) and the 72deg field is large but nevertheless small enough to see in its entirety when fixating on the field centre, so overall it's pleasant to use. The one detractor is noticeable field curvature so the outer zone of the field needs a different focus to be sharp; I tend to optimise focus at a zone about 60% of the field diameter which retains good enough focus in the field centre. If you're interested principally in a central target (e.g. galaxy or globular cluster) complemented by a wide FoV then it does a very good job. For wide, field-filling open clusters where stars are well separated, you may be a bit disappointed in the outer zone focus performance - this is where the compromise on image quality, eyepiece cost and weight appears - but certainly I'm very happy about how it presents galaxies and globular clusters, and in a moderate weight eyepiece. A good purchase; you'd have to pay a lot more and increase in weight to get better. (Used on f/10 11" SCT.)

Super Clarity, Minimal Abberation, "Affordable" Price
Whoa. I spent a long time on forums and talking to other astronomers before making this purchase, and in the end I only chose this eyepiece because it was the only thing that would arrive in less than two months. I was worried that svBony would be some mediocre chinese glass but I am pretty impressed. I've been to a few star parties so I've looked through the explore scientifics and I gotta say this isn't too far off, especially when considering the price. There is *very* minor chroma near the edge of the field (outer ~15%) but the center view is stunning. My first test was the moon in my 10" f/4.7 dobsonian and it really was a whoa moment. Before this it had just been done super plossls so the difference was absolutely stunning. The crispness in the image was beyond belief, with edges clearly defined and no visible abberation at all in the center fov. It definitely gives the often mentioned "porthole into space" feeling and I was instantly in love. Half the time I find myself barlowing this eyepiece rather than using my new high power eyepieces because the clarity is so impressive. DSO's are very noticable from the deep everglades and I was able to just make out some detail in the spiral arms in bode's (m81) I can say to anyone worried about QC that the eyepiece doesn't leave much to be desired!

Surprisingly Good
I use this to explore the sky with my 8โ dobsonian. It gives a nice wide view and a clear picture. For some clusters of stars, I prefer this over my more powerful eye pieces to take in an entire view

good value eyepiece
I like this eyepiece a lot. It is great for maximizing the field of view in a Celestron C-8 SCT. It has close to the maximum fov when used with a C-8 equipped with a 2" diagonal. It is very nice with little or no vignetting. The maxi fov on a f-10 C-8 SCT is about 1.3 degrees and this eyepiece yields 60X magnification with a fov of 1.2 degrees and it is a very pleasing image. Definitely a thumbs up!

Great eyepiece
This is my new go to eyepiece. The views are great, really bright exit pupil, obviously depending what scope you use it with. Really nice to use and with a barlow lens can give a nice zoomed in view with a lot of eye relief. Really comfortable to use.
