WC Freeze Virtuoso - Cooling Gel Replacement Earpads for Corsair Virtuoso

The earpads are easy to fit on, as if I was using the regular stock earpads: as expected. The temperature regulation was actually surprising, in my opinion it stays cool (WC FreeZe) even during prolonged use. Its material feels high quality, but the actual part of the pad touching your face can feel a little scratchy, so I don't recommend the product if you have particularly sensitive skin (I think the non-cooling tech version has the soft leather around the entire pad and will be 'more comfortable'), especially when considering the price. For which I say, if you have the money for it, buy it and you won't be disappointed. Something else I found apart from the slightly higher bass + small increase in overall sound quality was the fact that it reduces the amount of leaking sound, and not just a little. Good product, really happy with it. Would buy again.

The earcups fit perfectly and took just 10 seconds to replace the originals. In the first image, I left the original right earcup on and swapped the left one with the new WC earcup, so you can see the size difference. A small note for those with larger heads like mine: the bottom of the earcups may sit slightly open due to the added size, so keep that in mind. In the second image, you can see my original earcup that came with the headset. The leather started peeling after about a year, and the foam became very thin, causing constant pressure on my ears as they touched the inside of the headset. Thankfully, that’s not an issue with these new cups. If you're on the fence about buying these because of the price, just go for it—you won't regret it.

I took a punt on these as my current cups were getting a little worn and I liked the splashes of colour. They're not exactly dirt cheap but they feel worth the money. They actually feel chunkier than the out of the box cups and they're very comfortable and create a good deal which helps isolate the sound really well. I'm not sure how effective the "cooling gel" aspect is as the weather is pretty cold at the moment but I personally expect it won't be much different from a standard ear cup when wearing them for extended periods. They're super easy to fit as well. You literally just twist the original ones off and twist these ones back on. Literally takes seconds and doesn't require any tech know how. All in all, if you've got one of these headsets and the cups are getting a bit raggedy or you just want a different style then this is a cheaper option than buying a brand new headset. Highly recommended 👍

The product came as described, well built and comfortable. Easy to install after removing the old cushions. Similar to other reviews the “cooling” effect doesn’t last, but this doesn’t make the product worthless, they are still comfortable and aren’t too hot or tight and I have a large-ish head. If the factory cushions are broken or worn these are a worthwhile investment assuming they last. I’ve had mine for a month or so now and have had no issues or apparent wear and tear.

These work really well, they are nice and thick by comparison to the original earpads that came with my Virtuoso XT headset which is why I bought them. The cooling was noticeable straight away as it is hot for once where I live. They also seem to be blocking more noise as they make an actual seal around my ears, whereas the originals left gaps. Great job on these, finally my dumb massive ears aren't touching the inside of the headset. I left value for money blank as tbh I don't know if these are any better than the cheaper alternatives, but I am happy with them.

These feel comfortable and can wear for long hours. They do block a fair amount of background noise. More than the original ones by Corsair

They feel great and are a massive upgrade from the standard Corsair ones. Stay pretty cool too. However, after 2 years they have started to come apart (see photo). They have been looked after and I always hang my headphones on a stand when not using.

I have had these for over well over a year now and they have just started to fall apart. Could easily be fixed with some glue but the amount of use I have had out of these its expected wear and tear. The fit is perfect. Easy installation. I am not really sure I can tell the different between the gel version of these. They are no cooler than the standard options. Very comfortable and great replacement set.

They sold me the cushions torn and looks like it was pasted with a cheap glue. After ordering a replacement it was the same quality sent so rather dont buy.

Fantastic headphones. If they are in the room with the aircon running for a bit and you put them on they are noticeably cooler. Sounds great, more distance between my ears and the fabric over the speakers. Looks nice. The fabric is a nice touch. Will be interesting to see how the pleather on the sides holds up. So far 10/10 would recommend the earpads. The headband though, I wouldn't recommend it. It gives me a headache in under 30 mins.
