Helps with the pain
I bought this for my sister who has arthritis. She has been wearing them for a week now and is surprised with how much they are helping with the pain. She even called and told our brother about them who also has severe arthritis in his hands.

Almost perfect
I really like these compression gloves. I like the fact that it concentrates on the area of my hand that hurts. The gel pad is wonderful. The four stars is because the cuff is too tight. If that part was a little loser, these would be perfect.

Works but felt stretched out with continous use
I have pretty bad carpal tunnel in my wrists as well as being ulnar positive in both wrists so I get all sorts of pain, numbness, tingling and weakness. Normally I k-tape my wrists *very* tightly and that relieves most of my symptoms, but after an accident where some k tape got ripped off before it was softened, it tore my skin, making me unable to use my k tape while it heals. So that left me desperate for an alternative. This comes with two gloves, which is perfect for me cause I have issues bi-laterally. The material is very soft and felt super supportive the first few days I wore it. I wore the gloves nearly non-stop for the first few days, minus my time in the shower. I was happy with the relief I was getting, even though it was slightly less effective than my super tight k tape wraps (likely due to the fact these gloves don't compress quite as much as I am used to). However...by the fourth day I noticed that I wasn't getting quite as much relief. The gloves felt stretched out and I wasn't getting near enough compression for it to relieve my symptoms. I was kinda disappointed that I only got a few days worth of use before the gloves started to not work. Perhaps these would work better for people who only need an hour or two of support here and there, but for people who need continuous support, these didn't work for me.

For 10 bucks these rate 5 stars
First off, I have what I'd consider to be medium sized hands, about 10" circumference with closed fingers. These gloves, which are a size "large" fit well, tight but not overly so. I ordered the gloves due to increasing pain in my thumb joints just below the wrists. My physical therapist doc wants me to have some diagnostic work done before she'll treat the pain but I wanted something to help at least isolate the thumbs in the meantime. These gloves have worked well. I usually wear them whenever I'm doing any physical type activities. I'm big on keeping a large garden (both veggies and flowers) so I spend a lot of time working with the plants and naturally most of the work puts a strain on the hands. The gloves don't eliminate the pain but they do help support the thumb/wrist area and the gel pad is particularly helpful for protecting the thumbs from various bumps. After a day of gardening, the gloves are quite dirty so I just wear them when I shower and scrub 'em down then. They dry quickly and are ready for use the next morning. For me, they're definitely worth the price. Recommended.
